Hello, I am trying to sell a used Euphonium from you guys that I bought from Saied around 2015. It is the Jupiter 570S and I just wanted to know if it was compensating. Also, could you guys please tell me how much it could be worth today used or how much it cost new back when you guys use to sell it.

I like the design, but I don't think it's necessary to have a thumb ring for the right hand while playing. (0:39) All drum corps purposely make their marchers play without "breaking their wrists" while playing with the right hand, so it makes it kinda useless.

The trigger is used with the left hand

Jaden Overbeck no, Jupiter’s characteristically have a large thumb ring meant for the right hand. But TStanton has a very fair point in it being virtually useless. But still love the direction Jupiter is going and I’m excited to hopefully get my hands on one in due time.

As a member of the Blue Knights DBC, I saw mostly that that ring is used while going from carry to horns up. It is very useful in that setting and was not used anytime else as people’s thumbs were where they should be in between V1 and 2.

He really said “lightweight design”. Sure…
