The new JEP705 and JEP1005 feature a one-piece leadpipe design with bracing optimized to enhance playability. The reduced weight and improved balance minimizes playing fatigue promoting good posture and comfort. The annealing process applied to the bell provides increased resonance and projection, extending the dynamic range.

Such a beautiful instrument with a truly gorgeous sound!! So mellow, rich and pure!! Hopefully I will be buying a 700SQ very soon from Dawkes Music. Hubby is taking me over to Maidenhead to visit them in a couple of weeks' time, where I will try out several student B flat clarinets with a view to doing a part exchange with my old Jupiter 631 which was my first clarinet. Feeling mega excited!! The reason why I'm very keen to buy a 700SQ is because of the redesigned keywork, the adjustable thumb rest and also the fact that it has a neck strap ring too!! That would make playing so much more comfortable and lots easier for crossing the break which I find so very difficult. I'm counting the days to when I get to try one out at Dawkes!! They are selling this little beauty for a very fair price of £490.00, and I may get a small discount if I'm able to do a part exchange.🤩

Noticed your wearing a ring they are the big gist culprit for scratching flutes.
Please keep working on the valves of all of your brass. If you don't move them/oil them every day, they freeze up to the point of needing a trip to the repair shop.

Mmm i think i saw same jupiter jas 1100 somewhere online but it was both gold and silver plated….. its not original?
So, I think if Jupiter ever decides to create a new line of Jupiter quantum’s, I think there are a few genius Ideas, for one, with Tubas, a 4th valve would be genius, as a lot of corps who use Jupiter would probably invest in that(I would, as a tuba player in highschool rn, there are no word to express how much I would love a 4th valve marching tuba that isn’t as expensive or unbalanced like what I have been told about the Kings), and then for Marching euphonium and baritone, I think it would be genius to add a way to add a longer tuning slide(like the tubas) because my school uses those euphoniums and baritones for marching, and with the tuning slide, if they pull out a centimeter to much, it is flat, push in a centimeter to far, it will be sharp and with a longer tuning slide, it will be able to have more precise tuning, so it can be 100% in tune no matter what. For the mellophones, I personally think the mellophones are perfect, but maybe drop the Marching French horns, because everyone uses mellophones, like, I have never heard of a school or drum corp using a marching French horn before.

Would like to hear how it sounds in a really fat sense, not getting that vibe, like an orchestral player would but still nice and good thanks mr jazz chops
Having played a few of the older models, it's not a really fat tuba. It's a 4/4-size, so it just plays bigger than a 3/4-size, not huge, like a 6/4-size monster. It's a manageable sound, and gives good punch. I just hope this redesign (now that the model has been out for 4 years) fixes a few flexibility issues that the 582 before it had.
