I had the displeasure of playing a silver plated getzen GG that was in ok shape. I used a tuba mouthpiece on it and the low G was phat af. But trying to play anything else was not all that fun
@@Mithosphere You're the guy who played the giant silver tuba/Sousa at the 2020 Parada Del Sol parade? It was silver. I'm Cynthia the snare drummer in the Play It Again Band. I used to Playa Bb Convertible (3 valves) in high-school.
@@hemiprice4016 Never played a silver sousaphone, but did play a giant silver helicon - the one that's on here. Haven't played with the PIAB in a while since COVID. I think the last one was the 2019 Fiesta Bowl or the Horse parade in Scottsdale.
I feel like the best and easiest way to go on the baby GG bugle is to convert it to a F tuba. I would by the jumbo if i had the money :(
Not really, these are too small for F. I think someone on one of the tuba forums tried converting it to F with no luck.

Is the jumbo still available and if not is the king still available
Ariel Salcido both sold a few months back.
I feel like I've seen you before. Do you live in AZ?
Yes.
