G'day Greg, You say you found a button of a similar age with a Dragon on it, perhaps you just found George! Ive been eyeing off an old town hall in a small township nearby, built in 1890 next to a lake, I just have to get the nerve up to chase a permission for it. Crossing my fingers! My suggestion for mystery at 5:57ish is the main counterweight,on which you could install extra weights on top...for an old weighing scale in a grocers store

When we were kids, my Grandma would give us 2 sweet potatoes wrapped in Foil. baked and we stick one in each pocket for hand warmers. 1for breakfast 1 for lunch...
