Sure, just simply brew it like black tea.
First thing in the morning I would take 1 teaspoon of Moringa leaves mix it with hot boiling water in a cup. Let it sit there for 5 minutes and then drink it. I was lazy to strain it.
Same thing at night, last thing before bed, had tea the same way but please do it for at least 10-14 days.
I was lucky enough to notice difference from the very first day and by day 10 all pain was gone till today:)

Yes mam.It is very interesting to hear ur information about muringa tree n its leaves. Here in Kerala there is a concept also related to it.It is said that the leaves carry poison during rainy season n thereby avoid cooking it especially in the month of 'karkadakam'.But here in each n every home people cultivate it.The tree has its own sanctity I think so.we people make variety of curries using both of its leaves n drumsticks.Thank u for ur valuable information.

@@GitasKitchen Avoiding greens during monsoon time is mainly because very small , tiny worms tend to stick to the leaves and sometimes do not get washed out after washing or rinsing. This , I remember my grandma telling me as back in those days when there was no electricity, it was very difficult to see the worms even during the day during rainy season. also the drumstick tree attracts a particular worm called, kambalipoochi [ caterpillar, ]which gives itchiness when touched.

Hi. Thanks for sharing the recipe and the information.
I wash the leaves differently. I swirl the whole stalks in a bucket of water. Change water and repeat. Then dry the moisture and separate the leaves. I grew up in mumbai and we parsees are generally used to eating only regular store bought veggies. Although my mother having travelled widely in india, cooked many veggies that parsees never heard of, moringa leaves was not one of them. Msybe because we never saw them at our stores. Now I live in bahrain and have 2 huge moringa trees in my garden. My aunt who is a famous nutritionist told me to eat the leaves. I find many friends ready to share drumsticks. Sadly very few people want the leaves. I use them in dals, veggies and soups, much to my carnivorous hubby's annoyance. But each year when I cut my tree, it breaks my heart to throw the rich green foliage. There is a limit to how much 2 people can eat. Yesterday I cut one of my 2 trees and saved a huge sackful of leaves. Shared some with one neighbour. Wondering how to use the rest. This recipe seems nice, but can't use up too much this way. I would appreciate any suggestion on how to use up large amounts of leaves other than drying it to powder? And if there is a way to disguise the leaves so hubby won't know about it. He is a hard-core meat eater and strongly averse to green stuff.
