Witcher 3 combat system is still hit or miss but the world building and the story is one of the best Ive ever played I reckon.
Think it's worth your time to try, but after 5/6 hours following the starting area if it's not for you it's not for you.
A game to play on the road is The Outer Wilds. Indie space exploration/adventure/puzzle game. It's the best game I've ever played. Go into it blind and you will not regret it.

Witcher 3 is infinitely better than Witcher 1, and a lot of the combat system issues are fixed. Would recommend.

Kai.. you should 100% play Fallout New Vegas on steam deck..it’s so good on the deck.
