I'm guessing only part of Burt's reputation made it down to Argentina. Those of us who know his full reputation would've been as nonchalant about the situation as he was.
Best part of the whole film. Too bad the rest of the movie could not be like this. Back To Perfection was the worst of the original series.

like shooting fish in a barrel. What happened here is Argentina fed a Graboid and it turned into Shriekers and this herd of 6 attacked a chicken truck and turned into 24 Shriekers all Burt had to do is mow them down with a minigun.
@@geomodelrailroader It was an M45 Quadmount (famously known as the Meat Chopper). it was an AA gun, not a minigun.

I love how the intro of this movie is basically Burt’s rant about full auto in Tremors 2 coming full circle.

Hands downs the best gun fight/battle of anything this scene is just one of the most badass scenes ever made and finally burt was properly prepared 🤣🤣

The only scene that tops this, ironically comes from the same series, and that’s the final scene of the Prequel film, where Burt’s ancestor gets his hands on a Gatling gun.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend you do, the entire film is worth watching, purely for that ONE scene of unrestrained JOY on the face of Burt’s ancestor

I just want to point out that he's wearing night-vision goggles....on a .50 caliber turret. The gunshots blasts would be like shining a spotlight in your face for Burt.

Used to watch this movie EVERY NIGHT in my grandparents room when I was like 5. I had no other way to ask for the movie than to ask for the "Kangaroo Tremors" (in my head these were what they were.) The movie is terrible but it will always have that sense of nostalgia.

Burt Gummer is more of a chad than ANY horror/action movie protagonist. He's literally just a regular guy who adopted the ways of the survivalist. No enormous muscles, no giant ego. Just a plain man doing everything logical to survive. One of the absolute best movie heroes in history.

Mexicans trying argentinian accent is hilarious.
What happened here is the Argentine authorities did not contain the Graboid and it ate their food. When the Graboid got full the Grabbers inside it turned into six Shriekers and they ate a chicken truck and it became a herd 18 to 24 Shriekers. Burt lured them out of town and used his Bofor to take them out.
It's not a minigun; it's an anit-aircraft turret with .50 caliber rounds. Very effective with it's rate of fire. Burt said in the second film that a better offense to shriekers were semi-auto and preferably belt fed weapons; this is one step further. Now that's how hunting subterranean turned land hunters is done

The error is that in the "pampa" there isnt' any chicken but a truckload of cows. More cows than argentinians in the entire country.

@@killian9314 yup it got ran over and crashed through the windshield where it's head got caught in the steering wheel resulting in a crash, not only that but they had multiple attempts including sneaking up on them (no cars) at which point they got 12/20,000 before both their guns jammed on film, ultimately the Australian government put up a bounty and let the citizens handle it until better fences got invented
