- Feeling in danger, the citizens want to take action and hunt the graboids. However, a governmental agent and a paleontologist put an end to graboids hunting claiming that they are an endangered species.
About Tremors 3: Back to Perfection :
Burt Gummer is back in Perfection, Nevada, and he's been asked to help save the town from a new Graboid evolution. The Graboids are a scary kind of monster that have evolved far beyond the ones Burt used to fight.

Protecting graboids is honestly a dumb idea considering these monsters are probably the most dangerous creatures in the world. They would also be the most damaging invasive species in the world, considering they have an extreme advantage in hunting and that no other animal has had to contend with them for millions of years

Funny part is the guy specifically mentions Graboids despite the fact that Graboids becoming Shriekers is well documented by this point and Burt and the others have no clue how long the Graboids have been active, meaning they'll turn into Shriekers probably soon and they reproduce like mad, then what?
Also wondering how exactly these two clues and White Urkel over there are gonna catch a Graboid.
Dr. Andrew Merliss was named after my father who was a college friend of director Brent Maddock's. Maddock later admitted to us that he named the character in hopes he could get back in touch with my father. Needless to say his ploy worked. Incidentally my father was a cardiologist rather than a paleontologist and he's very different from his fictional counterpart.

The satire on this should really hit home with the naive types on the left, the very same ones who WOULD seek to protect an invasive species that means us harm. Yes, this is to entertain us and make us laugh, but make no mistake, they are making fun of you people in this and you totally deserve it.
Love these movies, the first was the best though! Sort of like Sharknado
