Great Car. I had a 70 XL baby blue with the dark blue top. Buckets center shift. 429 4v , C6 . My Father sold it new, and I was able to buy it 8 years later. One I wish I still had
Cool car. My grandfather had a ’69 XL Sportsroof, Bright Blue Metallic with white vinyl top and interior with buckets and console with "U-bar" shifter. I always loved that car, especially the wrap-around "Flight-Cockpit Instrument Panel." FYI this car is not a Galaxie. It is an XL. It was a separate model 1968-1970. The calling cards of the XL were bucket seats and console, but in later years the bench became standard and the XL's signature bucket seats with console became an option.
30 years ago you would have very little reason to like a large boxy car like this but now being almost 50 I can appreciate it’s solid lines . The only thing I would look for is the chrome bright work around the wheel wells . Car looks pretty well pampered great video.
Wow I wish Ford would have put that shifter on all Lincoln Mark V that was a special Lincoln Mark V the last ones that shifter would have been perfect for those cars
It's not a Galaxy... It's a Galaxie! Ford used the Galaxy nameplate in Europe on a minivan they developed in conjunction with VW. VW's nameplate was Sharan
absolutely wounderful. it sounds really good, much more better than the cars today!!!
Beautiful just beautiful.

Very nice! 390- 4bbl. I approve. Sounds nice, looks great. That gold with the black top really works well together. Nice wheels as well.
