  • We take the first boat trip of the season to our remote Alaskan cabin in hopes of landing "The Big One."' When that doesn't pan out, we get to work clearing a new trail for winter access and remove the old outhouse.
We appreciate you tagging along for our Alaskan adventure 😀

Their Channel is too underrated but gratefully it's gradually gaining more subscribers.
I get so tired of thumbnail pictures with that fake :-( and feeling like we're being duped and manipulated by Channel creators and it's such a turn off. Slap in the face that they think we're so gullible. Embarrassed for them to be so inauthentic and desperate that they think this is necessary. And how about those thumbnail pictures with the Home Alone face😱

Hi guys! We have fiddleheads here in Northern Maine, too! I just made a cream of fiddlehead soup on my channel. I have a fiddlehead cleaning tip for you. Drill a few 1/4" holes in the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 5 gallon pail. Fill it about 1/3 full of fiddleheads. Hold it in a fast running current and they water will wash them all clean, with little effort.

It cracked me up when Eric said "Look at this old thing I found" regarding the can opener... that's the same can opener I use! When I was growing up, my grandmother used to make baked beans every Sat. and she would make that bread in a No 10 can or two. She would make one bread regular and the 2nd one sweet with raisins in it. YUM, so good!!!! That was our supper for Sat nights and we ALWAYS looked forward to that when we went to our grandmothers!!!!

An elderly friend of mine used an old outhouse for a smoker. He said after using it several years that he needed a new one as the old one had lost it's flavor . He was a real character.

I didn't even know B&M Brown Bread was still in production. Growing up my Mom would occasionally buy a can to serve with her baked beans. Thanks for the memories.
    Cheers from California.

Another journey with two of my favorite folks. Glad to see you all will have an easier way to the cabin to unload from now on. Bo and Bandit always steal my heart . Scenery shots were beautiful as always. Thanks for the ride.
