Should add that K Mart, target , Woolworths and Coles can be open as late as 11pm. Convenience stores like 711 open 24/7. But more niche stores do generally shut between 5-7pm.
True. Simple rule to follow, further away FROM Sydney CBD more likely chances for shops to be open later, like till midnight. Same goes with food, further West you go they will be cheaper and open later. There are also 24 hours kmart out west.
My local Kmart is open 24/7
My Kmart targets Woolworths and Coles all close at 5pm it is rlly annoying
My Kmart, coles and maccas are open 24/7
20 years ago my grandfather said a very wise words to me, he said "one day someone will waste his time reading what u write" and here you are. wish me luck guy to continue in this mission :D
Our border security has to be strict. The biodiversity is so unique that it must be protected. The damage caused by invasive species cannot be underestimated.
Yeah, Australia is an island that got basically isolated from most of the world 10s of millions of years ago, also especially with meat from places like Asia things like foot and mouth disease could be easily transported and knowing our livestock trade and system it could ruien us.
Meanwhile we allow our wildlife to be decimated by feral cats and foxes.

In Melbourne, its so true because the weather changes so often

It rains hardly
Y’all never know HWAT commung
Best city tho
@@YasnaKarimi-mt4vrikr I’m like it’s summer why is it raining !
Being an Aussie from Melbourne i love how you mentioned that it's 4 seasons in a day!
Fr
Bro so true tho love it
Sad part is about Melbourne, IT'S TRUE 😮.
Sydney being a coastal city (which people often overlook), temperature can fluctuate 10-15 degrees in a day. For example, while it was nice warm 25 degrees dying daylight it can get lower than 15 in summer days and surely lower than 10 in winter days. If it's windy than it will even lower. So be prepared and carry a jacket if you are touring Sydney, waterproof makes it even safer.
for the closing times it depends where you live. we’ve been all over QLD and it’s usually 6-7 pm
I’m a QLDr and ha I can agree
In WA depends on the shops, the supermarkets are open late every night except Saturday and Sunday, oh and stores open at 11am Sunday, and some stores open a little later like til 6pm
yes i live past sydney and dam the shops be closing at 8 normal nights and like 12 thurdays
He’s talking about NSW I think
You can see this guy never travel outside Sydney and Melbourne.
Taps in public spaces are required to have a clear sign if they are unsafe to drink - just in case you are concerned about the 1% he referred to 😅
Seriously appreciate the clean water here 🤣
I love how you said except Melbourne witch is so true😊
Yes, some shops do close early but the popular stores such as Coles, Woolworths, Big W and other popular ones close around 10 or 11 (I don't remember the exact time). Or this could depend on where you live, shops might close later
As someone from Melbourne, I can confirm that we do have all 4 seasons in a day, a week or so ago it was 37° (degrees) outside, and then we had this massive storm, it was like a tornado, it ripped my school apart.
The next day it was cold and leaves were falling from a lot of trees. Just a normal week in Melbourne.
I am going to Australia . Let gooooo !!!
Enjoyyyyy
It's good over here
In Perth I’m pretty sure shops close at 7 and on Thursday’s at 9 or 10
Shops including Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Big W depending on area are open until 9pm weekdays and 5pm weekends, (weekend openings vary). Small supermarkets also vary but can open until 9pm weekdays and weekends. Some chemists open late and a few are 24 hour. Worth checking the area you visit.
I really wish our shops were open more ngl
Idk man, stores in Queensland start packing up at 4.
Travelling around in a caravan through the rougher areas is true Australia, it really shows you how things work here especially when doing it for a year.
5pm? Most places are open way after that.
Supermarkets open until 10pm everyday. Other shops until 5 and 6pm (Thursday night 9pm). Sydney.
I Never heard something more accurate about Melbourne in my life
Omg the Melbourne one is so true like today it went from windy and 21 to thunder storm and 17 to a 32 degree day in the afternoon
You get 4 seasons in a day anywhere on the East coast
Lol Melbourne has them all in 1 day but that do be true
I love the Border security t.v show !
Soooo good right🤣
N.T only has two seasons a year.. Wet and Dry
I LIVE IN Melbourne SO I AGREE WITH THE FOUR SEASONS IN A DAY THING💀
As an Australian I can confirm, especially the 4 seasons in 1 day
Haha👍🏻
Fr
FINALLY SOMEONE KNOWS HOW AUSTRALIA IS GREAT MATE!
Lmaooooo as someone who lives in Melbourne the 4 seasons in a day is the truest thing iv heard in my life 😭👌🫶✋✋
Here in Queensland we only got summer, wet season and the season where you don’t need aircon.
In Melbourne it’s so true that Melbourne has 4 seasons in a day! I’m cold at one point and then hot another! 😂
Most accurate and realistic advice I've seen, especially getting out of the city 💖
Literally I wake up and it’s winter I’m freezing but then all of a sudden it’s summer and I’m like yes and then I blink and it’s thunderstorm
Shops' closings at 5 is the best thing I've heard. No one is overworked, and people get time to spend with family
TRAVELLING i LIVE there 😂 The Melbourne part so true
Huh where I live the shops close at like 9:00pm or later
Fashion shops can close at 6pm or so but Supermarkets will close late 9pm-12am.
Living here in Sydney nearly 10years, it doesn’t have 4seasons, more of like 3seasons ,Summer,Winter,Fall, it depends on states.
Most of the shops close around 6 to 7 pm but for legit coffee shops, 2 or 3 pm. Asian shops tends to open till late(ex. Convenience store, grocery, cafe, restaurants).
An no. There's definitely Spring. Last year Spring lasted for like 5 months. Summer didn't come until early 2023. Anything below 30 degrees is not summer. I've been in Sydney for more than 30 years. I still remember the hottest day in Sydney was in 2003. It hit 49 degrees in Eastern Sydney. But no one ever talked it. Western Sydney was over 50 degrees.
Nowadays people are complaining about 35 degrees being hot.
Melbourne actually has late night shopping both Thursday and Friday
he ain't lieing abt melbourne weather tho-
I’m from Melbourne and I have endure 4 seasons in a day 😂😂
yes you can drink out of any random taps you see. the ones you cant drink from are labelled as such (mostly rain water taps)
I live in Melbourne and I can totally relate
Great tips man 🎉
Shops close at 9pm usually here in qld
in Melbourne it will be 37 degrees next second it will be 12
When swimming in the ocean, just check if there are dangerous animals if the water
As an Aussie, I can confirm that all these are true😂
I love the mention of border security 🤣
I’m moving to Australia soon!
As a fellow victorian i can confirm we have 4 seasons in a singular day😂
You forgot to mention that we have Late Night Shopping on Thursday close between 8-9pm
Australia in a year:🔥🥵🥵
Melbourne in a day:⛈️⛅️☀️🥵🌧️🥶🍁🍂
ITS SO PRETTY HERE! COME STAYYY
4 seasons in a day is so relatable down here in melbourne
As a Melbournian, we have two seasons: Antarctic, Australia Day
Depends on the city. Everything in Perth is open late
You can surely drink directly from the tap in Singapore!
I'm in Melbourne I understand the weather changes like crazy
I can buy groceries up to 9pm on weekdays, in one of the smaller aust cities. Only on weekends it’s a 5pm close.
Not all shops close at 5-7. If you come to Western Sydney where more desi and arab diaspora live our shops are open pretty late 😊
Melbourne have 4 seasons in one day is so true!😊
Friday night is late night shopping in the city. Thursday night late night shopping in the suburbs. Small towns will stay open until midday Saturday and then they close.
Keep your car doors closed. Creepy crawlies might sneak into your vehicle. 😊
Creepy crawlies get into your vehicle?? Maybe out in the scrub somewhere....but not in most of the country 🙄
@@wyzolma99 I have had spiders in my car in cities when I parked under trees. And living in the bush capital Canberra there is a lot more wildlife than in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
I once found an echidna out the front of my house, and encountered a kangaroo around the corner in a suburban neighbourhood. And Rabbits! We have wild bunnies in Civic! 😅. At one stage there were kangaroos grazing on the grass roof of Paliament House!
As a person in melbourne i can confirm that the weather is random.
Bro it’s so fun in Australia there’s no tornadoes no earthquakes it’s very safe! Lot of animals
And so much nature and I grew up in Australia 🇦🇺!
yeah, the 2 dollar shop normally closes at like 4 in the afternoon
The closing times depends on where you live and so does Late Night Shopping.
Also, in Sydney, it can rain more in summer than winter. Or maybe even more than the rest of the year combined😂
Been here 5 years, that’s how it’s been except for one very hot year when we had really bad bush fires
Fixing mistakes: in the nt and i think WA theres only two seasons, wet seasons and dry season
Majority of shops like wollies (woolworths) stay open till pretty late
In the nt, get a fore wheel drive and head to either, litchfeild (beautiful scenery, and huge water falls, lots of them are safe to swim in but always check for the boards that there's not crocs), Kakadu, (great for camping and hiking, ULURUUUU (taller than the eiffle tower, lots of original rock paintings, over all beautiful ❤❤
If you go to Sydney go to Scenic World at the blue mountains for the worlds steepest, hikes and more!
Steepest train!
I live in Australia and my local shops close at 7pm
There is literally a song called 'four seasons in one day' based of Melbourne
OMG SO TRUE LIKE AT MORNING ITS LIKE AUTUMN AND THEN SUMMER AND THEN SPRING THEN WINTER LIKE WHATTTTT
Actually most close at either 9:00pm or 10:00 pm every day unless it is a special holiday
I live in Melbourne and today it was sunny windy and rainy then a thunderstorm crazy right at school in grade 3 (I’m in grade 3) students go crazy when it rains annoying right ow
Kmart bigw target Woolworths and Coles can shut at 11pm or before 8pm
I'm from Melbourne and the 4 seasons in a day is so true LOL
As an Australian i love my country. Except Ballarat, I adore it but the fact every season except for summer is winter, kinda puts me off
In
Thursday it closes till 9:00pm
I’m in Melbourne and yes it’s always winter😢 but I’m moving to Queensland:)
Remember that visiting from Europe in winter you arrive in their summer........ Christmas day on the beach,30°+ and lifeguards dressed as father Christmas.....messes with your head.
In some places like Kimberly there’s the wet and dry season
Melbourne: *having 4 seasons in a day*
Tasmania with 4 seasons in an hour:
In Melbourne last week 12 hour drive and it is literally four seasons in a day
Lately here in Sydney it’s been 4 seasons in a day too 😂
WA, NT and Queensland only have 2 seasons, the wet and dry
Shops don’t close that early in wa just only know Sydney and I love here
I live in Australia and this is so true
In cities like Sydney public transport is relatively good and affordable affordable, get a travel card. If hiring a car beware Sydney toll ways are expensive and everywhere and parking is not cheap, even street meter parking. Public transport in Australia is very safe. Use it as it's quite good.
In Sydney opal card. Hop between Bus train ferry for a Max of approx $17 a day. Hop on off. Get a commuter ferry, no need for a cruise. Also, the card will get you to the blue mountains, Newcastle and south of Wollongong.
For Sydney and Greater Sydney, the "travel card" is called an Opal Card and you can't buy it on the bus, ferry or train.
Edited to agree with getting a ferry for a cheap tour of Sydney Harbour.
Far north like Cairns and Darwin it's 2 season there, wet and dry. Most of Australia is just dry
Depends on the state but most places are open passed five
True no cap
Ummm the shops where I am are open till 9pm at night…
Haha Melbourne is truee
As someone das went to australia for 4 times i can confirmed this although dat im pretty sure thursday n fridays thr shops open till 9pm. Also u should prob say theres loads of kmarts
I was born in Australia and just travel to a rely popular area and it closes at like 12pm
Have you seen Eastland, it’s huge, but Chadstone is the biggest mall in Australia
shops dont close that early…i always go to restaurants at night and the supermarket is open til 11
Four seasons in the southern states. Wet and dry seasons in the tropics like Darwin
In cairns there’s two seasons, warm and extremely hot
