If Honda recon doesn’t move while in gear would both clutches prevent it from moving?
If either clutch goes out it will prevent the atv from pulling however 90 percent of the time it’s always the pads on the clutch basket. While you have the primary clutch off check the pads on it also. If the pad is worn and you can see metal then I would replace that one also. Thanks for watching and be sure to like and subscribe.

I replaced my battery, before it would not turn over at all. Now it tries to crank but won’t. (And yes, it has gas 🫢)

i know this video is a year old but i got a rzr 1000 xp pro throwing two codes according to the little info i have researched it has to do with the throttle side but i still am having a hard time troubleshooting some help would be greatly appreciated

I have a question that maybe you can help me with, I thought it was my neutral switch that was bad, because when I put it in neutral the light would not come on and it would not start. so i replaced it, but still did the same thing, so then I checked relay for it and put a new one on and still does the same thing, it is getting fire to switch from the wire, and the bulb is fine and that also gets fire. then I noticed if I hold down the foot shifter I can hear it get contact with something and then neutral light comes on and it will start.. but if you let shifter go then it comes back up a little on its on and does not make contact then with what ever it is making contact with and then again no neutral light and no start... Do you no what I can do to fix this , even though this video is for a 350 mine looks the same its a 1997 yahama kodiak 400 4x4

Hi and thanks for watching. Take the wire off your neutral switch and ground it to the battery. If everything goes to working then I would say the switch is faulty or what trigger the switch in the side cover isn’t lining up. Hope this helps.
@@crankitt825 ok i will try that when I get outside in a few, I did put a new neutral switch on it that I purchased, and it did the same thing as the old one. I learned that if i keep my foot on the shifter bottom left on engine then the neutral light comes on, but if i take foot off and the shifter arm goes up a little on its on then the neutral light goes off and will not start again, I can hear something make contact at the bottom around the shifter when I hold it down, but I have no clue what it is making contact with the rod that the shifter bolts to does not seem to have nothing around it as it goes into engine.... and been unable to find anything online that has to do with this issue at all.
could be a bent shifting fork on the clutch side (right side). If my first suggestion doesn’t work then I would check on that. On stuff like this that doesn’t usually happen it’s just a search and look until you come across it. Hope this helps.
@@crankitt825 I tried the ground to wire but was no light showing up for neutral. I bet its just not getting contact somehow on the inside, cause sitting I can change gears then go back to neutral and no light then i take my foot and lift up barely on the foot shifter and the light comes on. I bet it would be a nightmare to fix if i have to take it apart to fix that problem.
the light should have came on when you ground the neutral safety switch wire to ground on the battery. If it didn’t I would suggest you check all your grounds coming off your wiring harness. Make sure they are all clean and getting a good connection and try grounding the neutral safety switch wire again.
what does it mean the symbol when its blinking

Great video. I dont have the patience to make videos like this. One life hack. Heated the bearings slightly with a torch and they hand fit onto shafts, also heated the alum case around bearing seating areas and case went on by hand also. It dont take much heat!

Is it throwing any errors codes? If not clean throttle body and try resetting your IAC sensor.

Sounds like transmission problems. It should manually put it in second gear when that is screwed all the way in.

I have a 2007 or 2008 Ranger 700, right now it’s idling fine, sometimes requires a little throttle to get it to crank. But once it’s running, when I try to engage the throttle, it bogs down to where it almost dies out. I pulled the spark plugs and found they had a significant amount of carbon on them and I’m replacing them. I checked the fuel pump and it works fine. Does anyone have suggestions for this issue?

I have a big bear I just put a new carb on it runs fine idling but when i put it in gear and give it gas it Boggs down, also I have 3 lines on carb fuel, overflow but what is the other line, your help would be appreciated
Hi and thanks for watching. The 3rd line is a vent line. Make sure your jets in the carb are install correctly. If so then it sounds like to me your loosing vacuum. Replace the top and side diaphragm. Hope this helps. Be sure to like and subscribe.
Can anyone tell me where the small breather line comes from that goes into the air filter box? The one that is located on the passenger side. I know where the other one comes from but don’t see it on my recently bought atv. It had its air box removed and I don’t see any line that goes to that passenger side.
What size and model Ranger do you have?
What is the proper way to get all the air out of the coolant system on these 800s I’ve been having issues with getting all the air out of my system and I’ve bled it on the bleeder valve on the head and raised the front end up to put the air to the radiator and none of it is getting all the air out
Hi and thanks for watching. That is the proper way on burping the coolant. If you’re still getting air, I would go to the part store and get me a coolant pressure test. This will let you know if you have a bad radiator, any loose water connection, or a bad head gasket. Hope this helps you out.

I would test the stator and if it passes then I would change the rectifier (voltage regulator). Power from the stator goes to rectifier and turns the power from ac to dc voltage. A bad rectifier might be causing the short. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and be sure to like and subscribe.

How do you pull the flywheel

( once you remove the nut off the flywheel you will need a flywheel puller for that machine to remove the flywheel)
How do you change it from kilometers to miles plase?
Would you have any suggestions on what to troubleshoot on a Polaris Ranger 800. It was just randomly shutting off, the battery tested as bad so replaced the battery and now it wouldn't start at all. Tested the new battery and it is fine and is installed correctly. There are no lights, no clicking when you turn the key, just completely dead. Thank you
Thanks for watching. To start with I would check to see if I had power going to my key switch and coming out when I have it in the on position. If you don’t then the key switch is bad. Hope that helps.

I just took mine in and they say the trans needs replacing $4800 for the trans before labor. Its a corporate ATV and we all know we are getting gouged and screwed over - but we need it fixed. Today’s generation - too lazy to fix the problem - rather replace the whole thing. The trans works in every gear except reverse where it grinds before going into gear. Go figure.
My goodness, the transmission is fixable and our two video will show you how to do it. You’re right in today world they don’t want to fix it. They want to sell you a new one and keep the old trans so the can fix it and sell it to the next customer as a new rebuild trans. It’s more money for them in the long run. Go figure! 2024 rancher sra foot shift. Only 46 hours on machine. Was playing a little yesterday. Got in a bind and engaged 4wd. Started making a grinding noise then popped a few times. Got it out. Popped a few more times. Disengaged, popping stopped. Engaged with no bind or being stuck. No grinding or popping. What could be the cause? Only have 26 in mud lites on 12 in rim.
Could be an axle. Check all four of them. If the noise comes back we will go from there. Thanks for watching.

I have rebuilt my Ozark 250 carb due to bogging down while giving throttle and still does the same thing. It fires up and idles perfectly but 1/4 to 1/2 throttle Boggs down. New plug, filter, rebuild kit. Any thoughts on where to go from here? Video was great!
Thanks for watching. Sounds like the top diaphragm on the carb is loosing prime and getting to much airflow. Have you replaced it and the diaphragm on the side? I would check them first.
@@crankitt825 I have not yet. I checked them and seem to be fine but think I’ll order some replacements and try it again. I have 2 of the same 4 wheelers so I am going to swap the carbs today to eliminate any other issues other than diaphragm

I would have spray washed the engine compartment first thing. There is a good chance of dirt /sand falling from above into the bottom end, or when you put yer new jug on. I didn't know Polaris had chrome bores. I don't care for them.
