Why didn’t you show where the voltage regulator is located😮 I don’t see any videos for the 1000 Polaris ranger?

Sorry for not showing that. This video was just showing the procedure we do in testing. The rectifier is located just above my right arm in video. It’s the shiny grey box. Hope this helps.
As for the Ranger 1000 we haven’t had any to repair in the shop. Once we get some in we will definitely do some videos on it. Thanks for watching and be sure to hit the like and subscribe button.

Hi and thanks for watching. Take the battery off and take it to the parts store for testing. Sounds like the battery has a short. Try this test if the battery continues to loose a charge after you find out if the battery is good or not.

i got a 2016 polaris rzr turbo and within the past 1000 miles ive changed the voltage regulator well last weekend i went to a mudpark and everything went fine until the time to load it on the trailer and it wouldnt crank it would turn over fine but it was like it wasnt getting spark or something i eventually got it to crank and put it on the trailer . when i got home it started to say over voltage so i started checking my plug connectors going to my volage regulator and one of the plugs was completely melted so i chnaged it and i still am having the same issue so i went towards looking at the sator plug which was also melted i cut the plug out of it and direct wired it and back to it not cranking. so im thinking it might be the voltage regulator is bad again since im getting 17.9 volts when i hit the gas what do you think?

Sounds like a bad regulator to me also. Definitely getting to much voltage. Don’t run it until you change it. Don’t want to fry the cdi box!! Thanks for watching. Be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.

My 2019 turbo s won’t crack even after I changed the battery, it’s says I’m getting 12.4 when I turn the key

Is this a brand new battery? If not take it and have it check. It has enough voltage but maybe not enough amperage.
