Welcome to my channel, the home of all things Django Reinhardt and The Beatles, particularly if you're into finding out how some of the greatest recordings by these artists were made. Also present are some of my favourite TV shows and movies, including Fawlty Towers, Dirty Harry and A Clockwork Orange. Enjoy!
Django Reinhardt's Improvisation
Django Reinhardt was a genius guitar improviser. Recorded in 1937 with no rehearsal, the record "Improvisation" shows just what it would have been like to watch Django sitting alone and improvising a piece of music. It also tells the story of how this amazing record was created. Django reluctantly knocked out this work of art in three minutes simply because he was told to.

❤❤❤❤❤👍
Many comments about Stéphane Grappelli's contribution being underestimated and how great he was, being able to play with Django, but also mastering classical material on his "fiddle". That's only half the truth. Search for "Stephane Grappelli plays piano", listen and weep, my friends.
Am I the only one who came from the George Harrison’s version?
me too!
FOCK the great GATSBY. that shit was shit in highschool. made 00000000000000 sense
Sometimes, I wanted to do the same thing to my car, but I love her.
“START, YOU VICIOUS BASTARD!!!”
Why don't you do one for LAST of the SUMMER WINE.
Good old time humour much better then today's rubbish
That goose step is one of the most iconic scenes of all time. His height, that swing of the leg …works so wonderfully because of Cleese’s height.
Only 12 episodes too. But such good scripts it feels like more! Quality comedy Happy Days ✌🇬🇧
Tout simplement magnifique.
Don't forget Michel Warlop from my town, Douai
Wow Falwty Towers was epic and sad too..Not so many episodes i mean!
Dreadful editing!!
The editing is flawless.
4:28 HARDER 🤣
Back in I think the '80s I saw an album in the music store of "The David Grisman Quintet", featuring Stephan Grappelli on violin. It had a picture of a guy with a mandolin and some older white haired gentleman with a violin on the front. I play guitar, and was a blues & rock guy, who also loved jazz, country & bluegrass and any mixtures of any of these genres. I had never heard of either of them, but I bought it. After listening to it on my stereo, I went and bought their other album they had collaborated on together! I later learned he had played violin with some hot guitar player named Django. I've been a fan ever since. If you like this, check out Grisman, and especially the ones featuring Grappelli. These guys here were amazing to me. 🎻🎸✌️
Brilliant
The first one cut off 30 seconds too early, where he goes straight upstairs and tells the guests that his wife had made a mistake 😅
how did this man play with just 3 fingers is beyond me
Is the fiddle played by Stephan Grapelli?
😢😂😹🥪
📿
"He's from Barcelona..." The emergency way of instantly fixing any embarrassing situation involving Manuel and other people's appreciation of what exactly is happening! 😂
Thos is Not Djangos style, this is Tommy Emanuel Joscho style. Not Tico or Djangos style.
Pretty sure Django did it first. Unless TE and J have a time machine…
Absolute comedy gold!!
Are you now or have you ever been a HOMOHEKSHOOL!!!!

How does this not get flagged for copyright violation?
Who gives a flying fuck
❤
SCHITTEREND
PRACHTIGE MELODIEN DIE ME NIET ONBEKEND ZIJN?????
"Please try to understand before one of us dies" is one my favourite lines 😂 I tend to (almost) say it on a regular basis lmao.
How John Cleese didn't really give himself a heart-attack when playing such a wound up volatile character is a marvel.
👍👍
The acting is so natural, nothing is forced, and the chemistry between all the characters, particularly basil and Sybil is spot on, the way he says “ Dear” like he has known her and been married to her for yrs, all the other characters are perfect, that’s why it’s so iconic, it’s easily one of the best Sitcoms, of all time. They certainly found lightning in a bottle here, and the fact they only made 12 episodes is testament to that, the spark didn’t last long.
NOW
Must be Stéphane Grappelli playing the violin
Both comedy genius’s, it’s such a shame we British have had our sense of humour ripped out by leftie do Gooders.
