I just got this windshield for my 18 lowrider. I’m 6’1” and the windshield is buffeting sooo bad. I’m gunna try adjusting it but I might just return it.

I just bought the cobra el diablo for my 2019 Breakout, as I sit patiently waiting for it to get delivered in the mail. I got a chance to watch ur vid and get an idea of how my bike will sound. I did my homework on this exhaust, and found it be the one I wanted. after watching ur flic, I knew I made the right choice. so hats of bud! will tune back in when there up and running. k thanks... Hey bro, thanks for posting this review, i got the exact same bike and i was wondering if you like the Windshield long term ? Does it rattle or is it solid ? And how does it block wind in relation to your height ? I would really appreciate any advice as these are expensive and seem like a tough thing to get set up right ! I just got a Quad Lock Pixel 8 case. The center plate, you know the one that the entire mounting system depends on, was popped off. It's only held on by 8 tiny little glue points. Such a terrible design. It should have been a molded part of the rest of the mag centerpiece.

If I change my exhaust system do I need to get my bike tuned? This may be a dumb question but I am dumb so feel free to answer if you want 😂

Cool Video for sure… I want to install these on my 2021 Street Bob but I’m nervous as f**k about doing it myself 🤔 . Not set up at all for doing mechanical work in my garage and I’m NOTORIOUS for stripping screws. I love that crash bar though I think I’m gonna need to have it installed by someone who knows what they’re doing 🤷🏻‍♂️.

So how is your turning ratio now that you put on the crash bar? From the video it looks like it sticks out really far and it looks pretty low? Do you have problems turning now that you put on the crash bar and what about splitting lanes do you have to be more careful?

Hahahah bro the same exact thing happened to me. On the right side I used a dremel to widen the torx tip and stepped up to a larger tip size. Took forever. On the left side the same thing happened and although it's not 100% stripped it is getting there. I don't understand why harley uses such soft metal bolts and torques them down so fucking hard. Like they're not expecting anyone to have to work on their bike ever.... if you're gonna set us up for failure just weld the fuckin things on

I have mid controls on mine and that back seat extension i use for me to stretch my legs out I even use the passenger pegs to stretch my legs on longer rides. Haha if I could put it on cruise control I’d take a nap back there lol 😂 you’re right it’s all personal preference but thanks for your in-site.

The windshield would fit the bike better without the chrome. The chrome parts should be black, and maybe the bottom half of the shield as well.

What screws did you use ?? I ordered the speed kings kit as well. But if didn’t come with hardware for mounting the plate on the back

@6:30 I used a u-joint and a couple extensions to get it off, used a deep well to break it loose then switched it to the shallow once I ran out of room. didn’t remove/loosen the oil cooler, It was pretty easy took about a minute, hope this helps others!

Even on a 1000 pound bike with a windshield you will get some buffering on the highway at 70+ mph.
