amazing work @SallysSpeedshop ! I have watched this so many times... I am doing the same over here in Good Hope GA in the next few months. Have you guys had any issues with the baseplate leaking? if so did you find any solutions? I have heard they leak and the company I bought mine from is advising doing a 2 inch depression in the footing to put the baseplate in instead of flush mounting it like you did I guess this helps with the problem. The concrete work is more expensive that way and wondering your experience? I am doing almost identical Q-style building but mine is 40 x 50.

I sure am glad my '64.5 rebuilder is a lot more solid than yours. The only rust repair I had to do was the usual front floorboards. That disk brake set up is aftermarket. Our Mustangs came with drum brakes on all four wheels, originally.

There's no fan spacer and the fan looks like it's backwards. Pull the number 1 plug and find tdc.

The problem with going over rust with fiberglass is the steel underneath will still continue to rust.. like the entire rear end of the 1971 Toyota FJ40 that we had that was from Illinois and was all filler, fiberglass matting, rust, lead, and from the axle back... two 3 inch 3/8 angle iron welded together as the frame. -.- Now you know why I hate half assed repairs. Fix it right once and you'll never have to deal with it again. Personally on something like that, I'd run the Tri-Y's into straight pipes or Cherry Bomb Glasspacks and just dump them in front to the rear tires and call it good. Tri Y's aren't good to run with anything that adds backpressure but with straight pipes or good glasspacks they're fine and will give you a lot more room around the shock towers.. which the first time you have to change the plugs you'd be grateful for.
