The push like this with bonuses for good health is great. Also the country(the people and the government) should do this: encouraging people to have good health: free check ups, additional payments for good health, free non-commercial health care in the country.

I had hyperthyroidism when I was in my 20s I was super skinny, super anxious, sweating, hand tremors , itching all over, super high heart rate and extremely tired. I was put on a bet blocker to slow my heart down and then was given radioactive iodine to destroy my thyroid. I was only told to stay away from other people, pets and kids for a week. I was not put on years of drugs or surgery it makes no sense to have a person suffer through years of drug therapy. Within 3 months I put on 12 lbs by doing nothing. Later on I was hypothyroid because that is what usually happens. I had this done 39 years ago and feel 1000 percent better. I am an American and this is how most cases of hyperthyroidism are treated here in the USA. Am very happy those years are over as I felt so horrible and couldn’t understand stand why I was so nervous and unable to stop the hand tremors I couldn’t even hold a cup of coffee steady.

I have a teaching degree in the US. I feel like this should make it relatively easy for me to work in Japan for a short period of time but I don’t know how to go about doing it. Since I’m an actual teacher with experience I don’t really want to work as the classic “English teacher” in Japan but I don’t know if there are any other options for foreign teachers

I'm currently planning to double major communications and English with a business minor with the goal of moving to Japan and hopefully getting into marketing im happy that you said you got a job with only 1 year of marketing experience im hoping i can get a marketing internship where im from over a summer or two and call that experience also what was your Japanese level when you got hired? i got to n5 in one year(didnt take the test but I did practice tests my vocab is about 800)

I have good tests coming up to check my t3 and thyroid antibodies, then I get a diagnosis. My doctor thinks I have graves, also my endocrinologist says the same based on my symptoms. I don’t have bulging eyes as far as I know. I don’t have excessive hunger or diarrhea. I have sleepwalked since I was a child so that’s not a symptoms for me, but I have other symptoms not mentioned online. I have to have an ultrasound of my thyroid and radioactive uptake test. My resting was ( prior to propranolol) 120-130 bpm, active was 180.

Hi I was diagnosed with graves disease. There so quick to offer radiation and surgery after 18months of medication. If your thyroid has no signs of worry, goiter, nodules, cysts etc. Perfect candidate to stay on your medication for 5 to 10 years, then test your antibodies and you will have 85 percent chance of antibodies remission. In this case thyroid is healthy, its antibodies immune attack saying there not anoth thyroid harmones

Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm currently going through the process with just getting the diagnosis of graves disease and the hyperthyroidism so been on meds for last few months after significant weightloss but spoke about getting it removed and hopefully that will happen soon as I don't want it going from overactive to under active.

Just to answer your question, it is rude to block someone like that. Although it is much easier to just ghost or block someone, it takes a mature and good communicator to be able tell someone that you are not interested without being rude. Like all relationships, communication is key and blocking someone is the opposite of communicating.

Sam we miss you! Please make some more of your awesome content. I remember back in 2020 your videos helped us get through the lockdowns in early 2020 and especially over the Christmas lockdown of 2021.

I have been suffering from this disease for 7 years now. I am currently on carbimazole but I feel its not helping and my health seems to be deteriorating fast. 7 years is too long I have finally decided to accept the surgery. I am so afraid of the surgery I have been doing research and came across yours which gives me a lot of hope. But sadly, we don have the best doctors and surgeons here which make me scared.

months ago, I went to the video of a site called italki. i was doing a section where i explained why japanese people don't make good friends and a weird japanese girl was answering me, who is from osaka. she explains that a number of Japanese people are attracted to foreigners. but she never explains how we could meet them. she made other answers, every time someone talks about a dating site, the girl said that it's not possible, that the Japanese avoid answers from foreigners... I didn't understand. I followed her on her channel recently to talk about his shades, but my comments aren't showing up. is it a cookie issue? I would like to talk about this with someone reasonable, who does not know me, without bad faith. this is not a troll, please can someone explain this girl's problem to me?

It's so refreshing to hear your experience! I was diagnosed with graves disease in 2020, my doctor said possibly in 4 months when I go back for a check up I'll possibly get surgery as well. I am a bit nervous and excited since this disease has been a burden for so long.
