More content like this pls I always wondered but didn’t know. Does the shield reduce damage at all? With the Chargers, pretty silly tbh, you think a shield light enough to be carried in one hand would block a 2000lb+ rampaging monster?

I definitely feel like it would be fair to block all incoming damage from bugs from the front because the bugs fight and swarms so it’s not like it would be game breaking

The lack of protection from melee is kinda dumb. It’s should fully protect from spew and acid aswell. Not protecting from the charger kinda made sense. That thing would be like holding up a riot shield to a rhinoceros lol, but I still think it should negate the damage it does but make you rag doll still.

One match against bugs, I thought I was taking the liberator rover...I took the ballistic shield, the icons are very similar...............................I felt that I had to tell my teammates about the mistake, or else they would think I am a tool XD The shield should be red, then we can do some Spanish toreo with the chargers, olé!

Pretty sure if you hold a shield up on a bull it won't work to well.

I am really baffled on why people say some stratagems or special weapons need to be buffed cause they suck against bugs or robots. I mean its clear that some things are just better at one faction. And thats a good thing! It just means that we can use different weapons in each section we play!

Seems like they only considered the Ballistic Shield by it's literal definition without giving it any close quarters protection. Definition - Ballistic: Relating to 'projectiles' or their flight.

The Shield Man Shield Relay + Shield Pack + Ballistic Shield (uh, somehow)

I don't bring the shield for enemies, but rather for teammates I know that have a high rate of team killing (especially when they use the Breaker Incendiary) R.I.P. lol

For the knife to work in place of grenade they would need to give players like 4x more knifes. So maybe like 16 knives. Otherwise why would anyone choose a knife over a grenade

I'll be honest I don't really care about the cosmetics in game. Having camo for a mech I never use doesn't really wow me. The primary weapon seems like a worse version of the starting AR and a throwing knife while cool will have zero utility. Really how often do you come across a lone mob in the game where you need to silently take them out? Increased melee damage is also extremely niche, most of us have died far more than we've melee killed anything in the game. While the theme is cool I wouldn't really consider anything in this war bond as having a wow factor.
