Old Air Pump Restoration
This is the restoration process of an old hand air pump for inflating tires. It was made by Fadip.
The head of the hose was damaged, so I change the complete hose with a new one.
I decided to keep the rustic look of the handle and the industrial look of the pump housing.

Old Trowel Restoration

This old trowel was in use for many years. Recently it was laying outside the house for at least a year so I finally decided to give it a new look. I decided to keep some signs of usage and rust marks on the surface. This trowel will surely be in use for the generations. I hope you liked it and thanks for watching. How To Restore - Old Husqvarna Reel Mower - Complete Restoration
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 4 lety
This video is about the restoration of an old Husqvarna reel mower ( if anyone knows the approximate make year, please let me know). After disassembling I noticed that the interior is badly rusted, but I chose not to use the filler, but I just removed the rust and keep the visible damage that rust left. Restoring the rubber part of the wheel was not possible so I just cleaned them as much as I ...
Steelyard Balance Scale Restoration
zhlédnutí 3,9KPřed 4 lety
A steelyard balance is a straight-beam balance with arms of unequal length. It incorporates a counterweight which slides along the longer arm to counterbalance the load and indicate its weight. This scale has two different ranges of measuring. One is from 0 - 3 kg and the other is from 3 - 12 kg. I started the restoration with disassembly and sandblasting of the scale. After that, I nickel plat...
How To Restore - Adjustable Wrench - Complete Restoration - With stop motion and time-lapse
zhlédnutí 24KPřed 4 lety
This old wrench was bent and broken and it was not functioning. The moving jaw was bent so much, that it easily fell out. After taking apart the jaw, I started with rust remover and made some amazing time-lapse footage. After removing the pin, it was time to adjust the bent parts. Then there was a very time-consuming process of hand-filing, sanding, and polishing of the parts. Finally, it all c...
How To Restore - Old Rusted Kerosene Lamp (Lantern) - Complete Restoration
zhlédnutí 12KPřed 4 lety
This lantern is one of the smallest storm lanterns ever made. It was really rusted and therefore very hard to restore. In fact, there was the tank cap, that couldn't be saved due to the severe rust. So I temporarily replaced it with the 3D printed one, I designed. About the lantern. The lantern was made in Germany by a company called Fröhlich & Wolter - FROWO. How To Restore - Old Pivoting Vice - Complete Restoration - With 3D Printing
zhlédnutí 2,1KPřed 4 lety
This old vice was hidden somewhere in the back of my Workshop. It was not in use for a long time, because it was missing some handles. I started the restoration with disassembly and paint removal. After some sandblasting, I gave it a shiny orange color. I made a new handle for the screws. And to have all the same plastic caps on them, I 3D printed them all. I designed the cap in a Fusion 360 an...
How To Restore - Rusty Lug Wrench - Complete Restoration
zhlédnutí 761Před 4 lety
In this project, I decided to give back some shine to a regularly used lug wrench. It was rusted all over and the fronts were not leveled. I started by removing the rust and filing some imperfections. After that, I covered it with filler to seal all the holes and dents. When it was sanded, I painted it with a blue color. This wrench never looked so shiny and new. Thanks for watching and please ...
How To Restore - Old Fretsaw - Complete Restoration
zhlédnutí 528Před 4 lety
For this quick restoration project, I took an old fretsaw, lying in my workshop. I choose to change the rivets with new ones. After painting with two-component colors I gave the saw new shiny bolts and wing nuts. As you can see, it works perfectly even on a thicker piece of wood. How To Restore - Two Speed Breast Drill - Complete Restoration
zhlédnutí 1,2KPřed 4 lety
In this project, I restored the old breast drill. Rotation of the lever was not smooth and the wooden handle didn't turn freely. Removing the gear pins wasn't possible without drilling. So I changed them with the stainless steel spring pins later on. I polished some details to make some shiny contrast. Colors used are two-component Jet black RAL 9005 and Pure orange RAL 2004. Thanks for watchin...

Not sure what you used to seal the fount (tank) but you may want to consider using a small amount of automotive gas tank sealer. Coat the inside real well and let it cure and it should seal up all those hole and the different fuels will not eat through it. Great restoration. That cute little lamp turned out great!

Restoration is gud.. best part is the kind of idea/design. How it function/works.. auto lock based on width of the nut.. but under day to day usage the center rod which holds the handle and the mouth will get loosened.. a slight play might be seen..could have modified it by adding a steel bush then the rod (rivit), inserted inside the bush, bush to be fitted to the handle, the Outer Diameter of the hole in the handle should b bigger than the hole provided in the mouth.. so handle holds the bush mouth holds the rod.. both in hard steel. It gives a perfect smooth semi turn.. but still this is not bad too. If its only upto restoration.. great job. Hope u understood my idea..
