Dharma: Natural Function Guided Meditation
Everything has a natural function, a Dharma. With skillful perspective, we can recognize that all expressions of life’s energy (Shakti) are pointing us home to the underlying aware Knowing (Shiva)…I AM That I AM. This guided meditation was recorded during one of our annual meditation retreats on Kauai.

To thin these veils and reveal our true nature, 3 upayas - 3 “ways” - are prescribed. This talk introduces both the 3 malas and 3 upayas. This is excerpted from talks given at the Center for Sacre...

Having turned consciousness over in the mind, you might want to wake up the nadis for instance, you imagine your spinal ganglia (column, the shushumna)3d, attached to the brain. Gazing at the 3rd eye, as you inhale, imagine an electrical storm, lightening bolts and all, enter into the spinal centre. Not only in the interior of the centre but also the exterior, the storm travels up the spinal column in sync with the inhalation, entering the brain, lightening bolts flashing (whatever that means, flashing everywhere throughout the brain) and culminating at 3rd eye. Now, in the chinese microcosmic orbit, with the tongue touching the roof of the mouth, you imagine the energy running down the front of the body to the dan tian (manipura chakra). The energy runs down to the bottom of the brain. This is the opposite side of the spinal ganglia where the lightening rushes up on the inhalation. The lightening can still flash away in this process. Then repeat ad nauseam. If you get a headache from this, you need some rock or sea salt, a quarter teaspoon in a glass of water. This will facilitate the conductivity in the body and kill the headache. How do you know it's working? Besides an onslaught of memories, you have an euphoric effect akin to an orgasm and the body heats up, which comes in handy if you live in a cold basement like yours truly. Oh, and you might incite an epileptic event, keep that gaze on the 3rd eye (ajna chakra). That would be the kundalini shakti entering into the citrini nadi where you will be immersed in white light and ecstasy. Should this happen, you must be solid in your conviction that you are doing the right thing, and you are ready to die for it. This is very physical, literally an epileptic event, and totally worth it. and happy epileptic eventing, yes
