Kashmir Shaivism: Trika, the Trinity

Trika means “trinity”. Kashmir Shaivism has been traditionally known as the Trika School. This talk introduces the three-fold nature of Consciousness present in all things at all times:
Shiva, meaning “underlying”, the changeless ground of Consciousness, beyond all form;
Shakti, meaning “power, energy”, the ever-changing pulsating creative energy of Consciousness;
Anu, meaning “point”, each individual expression or microcosm of the macrocosm of Consciousness.
