Hi John, I have an ESP-6, at this point I do not want to fix it. I just want to disable it so how do I do that? Ideally, I would just turn the valves off and leave them off forever and just use of a surface sprinkler. I guess my question is how do I turn the valves off permanently? the fault keeps the valves on right now.

Can you just tape an rfid blocker on the generic filter?

If you use the filter bypass, is the water being filteted?

Save yourself some money and just buy phosphate-free dishwashing detergent. It can be either liquid or granular. There is nothing else you need. Been doing it for years. Soak it overnight and rinse it really well with a spray hose. Your filters will look pristine white. You don’t need to spend money on any proprietary products. That’s just biological waste on the filter. Dishwashing detergent is meant to remove exactly that. Just make sure, again, that it is PHOSPHATE-FREE.

Funny, I have a condo right down us 19 from that field. Is the tractor still in that field? I live in NY, but when I was down there in April I was just saying that I would do some training in that field if I lived there. See if you can trap some pigeons. I used to see a bunch under all the overpasses on us 19.

I bought one to Ghana. How can I get 240 volts from the genarator.

Does it matter whick order you do the oil change. I noticed you reset the % first, then the filter, then drained the oil. I do just the opposite, is that your personal preference.

I've had issues with SuperTech oil maintaining oil pressure. I have a 2002 Tacoma. Every time I use SuperTech oil I have problems with low oil pressure at idle. When I use Mobil One or Quaker State, no pressure issues. All oils were 10W-30 full synthetic, high mileage formulations. Granted, the engine does have 250,000 miles. But this would still prove there is a quality difference between oils.

I ordered the Oregon G5s on Amazon, but they substituted the Rotary Copperheads instead. Have never used these blades.

John, thanks for the info. After listening to you I believe I have a thermistor problem. My freezer is not getting cold enough. It makes some ice and then quits. Frig is fine, and I did replace the cap and relay on the compressor, it didn't help. Because the frig is fine it eliminates defrost and fan problems. So, after all you have demonstrated I think it's the thermistor. Thanks Rick

I’m commenting only because I was able to use the tip that you just shared to slow the closure of my door, but once it makes contact, there’s still a heavy slamming sound, just like in your video.what does one do about that? Is it a matter of thick weatherstripping or something to soften the contact?

I just bought the exact same valve to replace the old one. Doing a remodel as well, old valve wasn’t leaking but handle is stuck. Good to know that I may need to use the old screws. Thanks for the video! Fingers crossed over here. 🫣

White washer should have went under metal washer. Protects the china and gets a good grab. 2nd metal washer wasn't really needed.

There's a lot easier way of doing this. It involves removing the 2 bolts that hold the fuel head to the motor. No need to remove the inner fender well. You do need to remove the air intake for easier access.

THANK YOU John, much appreciated video and i like the proof on of concept, i always thought it was the complete oposite but i must admit i am removing an old deck at the moment and the most rotten planks are the ones cupping, obviously i guess. I will build the new one using that technique !
