Your reaction to the end of The Veiled Kingdom was what I was waiting for!! LOL 🤣😅🏴☠ I often will reread something that I loved before to get out of a reading slump or I will find something that I can't put down (such as a popcorn read) and then I'll just keep the momentum going after that!
THE ENDING!!! 🤯 I am so hungry for book 2. I really am hoping the author handles the fallout well. And yes, same! I think that’s the best way to approach the slump. That or just binging a tv series

🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ to get out of a reading slump, I usually try reading something completely different or from a different genre. I’ve been a bit slumpy recently, and I’ve read a lot of fantasy/fantasy romance this year, so I’m going to try a thriller soon by Riley Sager
I’ve reached that point for the first time this year too. Just read a cowboy romance and now I’m trying an F1 racing romance. Lots of my favorite fantasy romance series are blending in my head. Need a clean slate. Love you so much!!! Thanks for watching 💕🥹
I also am in a slump, I feel the problem is I have too many options. I have kindle unlimited and love it, I also unhauled 30 of my filler books to help to not overwhelm me
This is SUCH a great idea. My KU tbr is massive and I’ve only had KU back for a month now. Already having that overwhelming and fomo feeling. I totally recommend Six Scorched Roses by Charissa Broadbent to help you. It’s less than 200 pages and is a standalone fantasy romance. It’s the best novella I’ve ever read and got me out of my last slump

I've been reading a bit of thrillers to help me, I love fantasy but I feel like that requires all my focus and when I have things happening in my life it's hard so thrillers are quick easy reads :) always love your suggestions, I purchased the set a court this cruel and lovley which I need to read

Been debating whether or not to put on my TBR!! I've never read romantasy, but I know for certain I hate the Christian Grey trope: male love interest who's mean, egotistical, abusive, etc. What's this MC like?

The second book (not counting the prequel novella) of that hockey romance series involves a divorcee and a hockey player, so just a MF one (if I remember correctly). Also bought that urban romantasy hardcover book; the cover underneath got me and I'd heard of the author before. Did those Funko get bought? And if so, how many were there?
Oh wow! OK, maybe that’s what I need to check out instead! Thank you for letting me know. Yeah that hardback got me too! Looks so good! He ended up not getting out any of the pops, just because we didn’t have the space 😢
