🎄I recently received my paperback copy of Dawn of Onyx. Did a lot of pre-ordering for the new year because I am attempting to go on a book ban and determined to read the physical books I own. Hope you made it safely to the US and enjoy spending time with the family. Happy holidays!!!!
Yay!! Dawn of Onyx!!!🤩 you’ll have to please let me know what you think of it. I understand the ban. I’m putting a cap on the number of books I’m allowed to bring in the house this coming year and if I go over that number, I have to sell things to make up for it
Instead of guilty pleasure, I think of those books as easy reads. You don’t have to put much effort in to understanding the world building or characterization. It’s just … easy, a nice break for your brain after some heavy fantasy 😂
Some great books hauled! I'm so excited to read some of these. In terms of Iron Flame, it is super slow but I read a lot of dense and slow political fantasy so I actually quite enjoyed it. I completely understand the complaints though. In terms of FL items, the quality definitely seems to be going down which is a shame, so i don't mind you not talking about them 💛🎄
🎄i read the bonesmith prior to receiving the fairy loot edition and can honestly say it’s one of my favorite young adult releases of the year. I’m highly anticipating the second book that’s coming out in 2024! I think you would like it.
