I've read all the Caraval books, and though I agree that you don't *have* to read them before the Once Upon a Broken Heart series, you get a lot more context and more of an understanding of Jacks' character in the 2nd and 3rd books in the Caraval series. He is a pretty big part of the second two Caraval books, and some of the things discussed in the OUABH books make a lot more sense in my opinion
I just started Six of Crows today and I’m only 108 pages in but I cannot stop reading…. It’s literally so damn good. It’s makes me so happy that you are officially a Fantasy Girlie. And I have noted down a bunch of these recs… THANK YOU SARA

Just an FYI, if you read once upon a broken heart first without reading the Caraval trilogy, it’ll completely spoil the trilogy bc it’s fully recaps what happens in legendary and finale. Def recommend reading the Caraval trilogy first if you want to read both series!
Yes this!!!!^ you don’t have to read caraval, but going back after ouabh you’ll have spoiled parts!
This is really good to know. I have caraval and I bought the first two books in the once upon a broken Heart series because they were pretty and the story sounded good. You saved me from spoilers 😅

I’ve been reading TOG since I was 15. I’m 22 now and haven’t read the last book because i’m just so connected to this series and every character in it. I have never felt this way about any other book i’ve read and I don’t think I will ever be able to let these characters go. I hope you love the series as much as I do ❤️

So I'm really looking forward to explore more of the Romantasy genre! I started the Shatter me series because I heard good things and was curious. I just started to read again after years of not reading, and I can’t put the series down, love the series and the novellas a lot! It’s easy to understand, fastpaced, and addicting since page 1 for me. I’m so happy I’m having so much fun reading again❤ Will definitely be picking up books from this video when I finish!

Shatter Me was definitely the first fantasy series I read as a romance reader (expected it as soon as she started talking) and I highly recommend it. The series is definitely my favorite and has some of my favorite books within it. If you are going to read it, read at least until the end of Unravel Me before you decide to dnf. Ignite Me is the best one though 😊

The six of crows duology is so good! There’s another duology called King of Scars that takes place after Crooked Kingdom but you need to read the shadow and bone trilogy and the six of crows duology to understand what’s happening.it’s really good and you get to see the characters from both series here
