Why do people like the dragons so much? I don't get it.

Is the software to manage 127 printers important for you? or does the ability to wifi print manage that process well enough? I use software to manage 10 printers, but I got 2 K1's thinking I could integrate into what I use but found out my software does not support klipper very well....so currently trying to figure out a solution. I use repetier server in my set up, I don't sell anything I just don't like waiting a week to print mando armor or multipart helmets....I would love to do a full farm but I have a really good job and the transition from one to the other would be very rough.

I was thinking you could heat seal your plastic waste into bags to use as packaging, non clear bags would work

I’m going to be binge watching your videos. I have a few questions which hopefully aren’t too intrusive. Have you owned or run a business prior to your current print farm operation? If so, what industry were they in / what was the business or businesses? If you didn’t run a business before, what did you do for work and did you hold a senior position there? What tools have you used to develop your mindset towards business? Books, videos, or was it formal study? You have a very switched on, focused driven mindset with a clear big picture way of thinking. Reminds me of my COO. I currently work as an Operations Manager with 45 staff under me in a large private security firm but I’m always tinkering and working on projects in my free time putting nearly equal hours as my work into my projects. You have quickly become one of my sources for inspiration. I want to begin a business and 3D printing fixes all the current issues I have with creating and developing.

which printers do you find works best? I've been looking at the minis but is there a different in the two besides the uprights.

Your journey on how you began and then what you evolved into from dedication and hard work is inspirational. I appreciate your humble, no gloat approach compared to the “you can make a million dollars” style we have become desensitized to. I have been doing research on this for my own desire to begin a similar project. This inspired me and has shown that creativity, focus, niche and hard work will pay off over time if you are willing to back yourself. Thank you for sharing.

To take the suggestions from others to the next level of convenience, I'd like to suggest a bunch of zigbee temperature/humidity sensors and power controllers connecting to an automation system like Home Assistant to trigger actions like fans turning on, heaters turning on, notifications being sent etc. It's a very extensible system, so you can build dashboard that might also include a video feed of your loading dock entrance along with your print farm next to environmental notifications. Really enjoying your content, I was thinking of having a small printing business by investing in a X1C or a couple of P1S units, and the economics of the smaller A1 systems with the ams surprised me, but you really seem to make it work. Suggestion, put a lid with a hole for the tube on the overflow water tank for the dehumidifier otherwise the water will just evaporate into the air again in the warm environment.

Great content! Question for you, what do you use for containers for your prints when you send them to Amazon Fulfillment or others? I've been trying to find good packaging for my 3d printed resin and filament products, but everything kind of lets it move around too much and I'm worried about damage. Thanks!

You shouldn’t have overwater from the dehumidifier collecting. It will just be going back into the air. That’s why it’s in a close tank within the machine.

Find a way to mount to dehumidifier on the wall above the sink or on a shelf near it. Run drain tube into the sink and gravity will do the rest. You’ll never have to touch it again outside of filter cleaning.

If you don't mind me asking, what are some of the products that you would recommend to design, print and sell. I don't yet have the capabilities to be able to make minifigures but I can make modals that do tasks. Some examples would be, Simple pencil holder, clip on headphone holders, storage containers, airbox cover for a engine, Stuff like that, etc. Just cant have complex geometry. Any advice is always going to be helpful. Thank you - Moonlight

How about removing the lowest shelf and have the Printers standing on the concrete, which will also remove the movement disturbances from the other printers. This way, You get all shelf some 6-10 inches lower. you could use the former lowest shelf to be the top one for storage.

I saw that you mentioned in one video that you use the filament boxes for shipping. Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but you can turn the boxes inside out so the printing is on the inside and the outside is perfectly clean. Looks much better. It might take you a few tries until you get good at it without damaging the boxes, but it’s fairly quick once you get the hang of it.

Why not add a top shelf to the racks? A few 2x4s and a couple sheets of MDF and you would have more storage.

Nice chair. I just bought one very similar on the very same day. The table in the back in an automatic mah-jong table. Looks like quite a nice one. In China, you often find them as a luxury extra in upmarket hotel suites. Truly hypnotic watching them "wash" the tiles!!

What I like to do for that problem when it gets caught in the spool take your snips if you can go through the center of the spool and snip off any extra material you can so that way when it gets to the end it's less likely to snag.

Great idea for the rolling shelf rack, it was definitely an upgrade to my suggestion of a rolling cart, which would have had much less storage space. Keep up the Great work! Thanks, Scott

Mahjong table

Debating between a1 combo, or p1s. Currently have an Ender 3 v2 and print only in pla. I would like to experiment with tpu and petg, maybe a little abs. Do you find you need to print pla with the glass off on the p1s for best results? Also would love to hear your opinion on which printer is better?

On your X1C rack, you can raise up the printers a bit, and then with the space created, put a shelf in the middle for storage. Ya, it's not on top, but it is using that space a bit.
