Came across your channel a couple dayys ago. Had my 3D printer for about a week(P1S) I use Fusion 360 at my day job so it just made sense. As someone who has extensive CNC and manufacutirng process experience don't let these haters discourage you. I don't think people realize how much hard work goes into being able to do all of this. My end goal is to have my own farm as passive income to pay for a couple of CNC mills so I can make some side cheddar. So I will definitely be tuning in!
Normally I don't comment on CZcams videos but I gotta say, please keep up the good work. As someone currently prototyping to bring a product to market, seeing how much and how fast the orders come in and trying to move selling product vs stale products... good to see behind the scenes. Thanks mate. Keep up the good work.
It’s been cool to watch your story. I have 8 Bambu printers currently (5 P1S printers that print strictly in ABS, 2 A1’s and an A1 Mini), and sell parts for RC trucks that I design myself.
Honestly don’t get the hate. Especially the people saying you’re flooding the market with junk. America is addicted to cheap stuff. Amazon, Walmart, Dollar Stores, etc……… they are flooded with cheap stuff. If you can get a slice of the pie why not?
But the point with 3d printing is it brings the making back into your own country. Great to get the printer tech from China, making use of their system etc at least this is the way I look at this aspect of it. We used to make cars here in NZ but now more logical and cheaper to buy in from Japan etc. However we do better here than most countries in producing milk products, so do this here for exports. Laurie NZ. 😊
You could do with a trolly when clearing your prints, with spare filament to reload your printers with new spools and some plastic boxes to put the prints in. Just an idea, keep up the excellent work.
I'm just starting out myself, two printers a P1S and an A1M and I'm already looking at ways to try and make a few bucks with them. Love watching your process, thanks for sharing and thanks for the help and answers you've already provided.
Keep it up haters will always hate, I’m new to 3D printing and clueless. I’m going to insert 3D printing into my woodworking. Combining these two I can come up with lots of cool things. And knowing all the end and out will help me not make to many mistakes. Thanks for your insight.
Thank you for this inspiring video. I'm investing in a small print farm at this moment and hope that I can grow steadily. One question though, aren't there any copyright infringements when selling Star Wars helmets, Marvell masks or other props? Keep on posting, you're an inspiration!
But I am subscribed to a few people on patreon and get notifications when they post new models. I also scour websites like makerworld, myminifactory, thingiverse, printables. Etc
I started selling on some farmer markets and I got some people asking if i would start selling a bag of 10 or more mini's. Do you have a certain size for models so that they fall in the category of mini's ? Love the channel and information
Cool thanks and it is the multi colour printing that is very interesting to myself. You also remind me of the local Kiwis who started the toy company Zuru. They were a bit younger than yourself when they started out a few years ago. Now millionaires I believe btw. Also your approach to this business etc. Mmmm I can watch twice a week videos. Every day would be too watered down I think. Looking forward to next videos. Laurie. NZ. 😊

Are you recycling any of the cast off PLA? You may have already addressed that somewhere. Seems like you’d have enough to make some effort in that area worth it. Thanks for sharing your journey!
@@Dancyn3Dprints yeah, most (probably all) municipal recycling programs can’t take PLA. Heck, they don’t recycle a majority of the plastic as it is, but I’ve seen companies that specialize in recycling PLA and there are commercial equipment options for doing it yourself. Was just seeing if you had any experience with it since you seem to be diving head first into your business there :) Thanks for the reply!

I don't really see much hate on your comments, do you moderate and delete nasty comments? I think these videos are super cool... it makes me jealous and want to do it myself. Some day 🙂 BTW, I do think the octopus you showed looks super cool.. the color combo is amazing!
why make videos about this ? you will create competition for yourself, people might sell for less money, and not sure if you will make that much money from youtube. I am asking just out of curiosity, I do not understand that "helping people that want to do the same"

winning by polluting the world with junk and creating an unhealthy market while giving 3d printing a bad rep as being used for nothing but junk

not really i scale these down so they fit in the egg.. usually between 70-90% i dont go lower than that then they are super small
