Another difference is that some cutscenes include all buddies. An example is when you’re getting the next star location at the door and you’re surrounded by all your buddies. Another cutscene I’ve noticed is when you going to Glitzville it’ll show everyone with Mario in the blimp. This is a nice touch because I like all my buddies be involved. Showing more inclusion of everyone and not just who you got selected makes it feel like everyone is together with Mario on an adventure to help save the day. I just got to Glitzville but I hope there’s more of these cutscenes where everyone is there.

There are so much details to cover between the original and the remake of The Thousand Year Door. Since I haven't played the og TTYD in awhile on emu (I haven't even finished it), I wonder 2 things: 1. What is the room that has been replaced with the multiple shortcut room in the original game? What is also on the other side of both doors in the OG version? 2. In Creepy Steeple, there is a room with a gigantic block with a pipe inside it, leading to Twilight Town as a shortcut. This is not in the original game, so is the room even here in the original game? If so, what's inside it if it's not the shortcut pipe?

I love how they didn't even bother to change the graphics and still this legitimately feels like an actual anniversary edition. Although the screen crunch ruins a little bit the experience for me, we can tell this was a work of passion when Nintendo cared about his customers. The best part are the game modes and the unlockables, with The Lost Levels included in the same cartridge (I hate that they didn't use the improved graphics the original FDS release had tho).

It is not so much better at all. Please explain how it is and you aren't just blinded by nostalgia. What, she randomly mentions that Mario got robbed as if she saw him take his coins with how fast he zipped by? How can she tell, how did she just peer into his pockets? The remake's version is way more realistic to the situation and makes way more sense, it is better. There are no numerous sanitized versions of the game's dialogue at all that's a lie, barely any of it is changed outside of a very few and when it is it's arguably better than in the og. You poor thing, if it bothers you this much that she merely doesn't point out Mario was robbed go play the GameCube version.

I chose not to engage because I wasn't interested in getting sucked into another confrontation with you.The only reason why I changed my mind is because you kept pushing me and still holding me against what happened in that other thread. Also, I could explain the details regarding Goombella on how she knew Mario was robbed; however, I have a general idea on how you would respond. As a result, I'm not going to bother. Now, at the time I'm writing this, this video was uploaded nine hours ago, while Rokudaimedono's comment was written an hour ago. It's quite peculiar how you would return to this video and then gravitate to a recent comment expressing a contradictory opinion towards the remake. If I didn't know any better, I would say you clicked the tab where you sorted the comments by the most recent one and then actively searched for ones you don't like. I know I replied to a few more recent comments myself, but the ones not involving you at all were respectful and/or positive. I know you don't like it when I make assumptions, but I'm under the impression you periodically lurk in these comment sections. One thing that bugs me about the remake is the "freestyle" portion added to the end of the loop on all songs. It's just kinda out of place and in a track like the Smorg Battle, it kinda kills the momentum the song had.

There is no freestyle portion, if you're talking about the couple new extensions added to some of the songs they are all great and really give them more charm. It's never out of place and the Smorg battle is a perfect example of it making the song even more of a banger. "Kills the momentum" yeah right lol that is not true at all, if anything it enhances the momentum the song had.

Where are you getting "huge city of excitement" like lmao it sounds nothing like that. Speak for yourself, the original track just made it sound weird and a bit mysterious. It never really sounded like a bustling sea port town. The remix on the other hand very much does, really fitting the theme of Rogueport while giving a hint of weirdness. A bustling town full of ruffians and thugs, while giving that vibe of adventure and "you've reached an uncharted area to explore" that the original track didn't have. The mysterious vibes are kept for the underground which is way more fitting as the mysteries are all down there, not above in the main town.

Not really a "change," since you could never see Madame Flurrie from behind before, but there's a mistake where you can't see her necklace from the back. It's possible they were looking at a plushie, or 3D model of me, and saw that I only have beads in front; but that's because my shell blocks the ones in back. And Nintendo, loves to capitalize on optimization every chance it gets, so they simply don't model them... same thing with my teeth, they don't stick out, so they don't get modeled. But we do see her necklace as a separate item in this game, and it is demonstrably 360° of full beads. So it's kinda jarring to not see it go all the way around her neck in this game, even though she's completely nekkid, and there's nothing to hide it in back.
