Here's one that I haven't seen talked about enough: the sound that plays when jumping on music blocks actually matches the music's chords.
Same thing happens if you bonk onto the bottom of one, but it doesn’t play a chord, it’s just one block.
We all talk about how good those bubbles are, but the drill is pretty goated as well.
The whole game is kind of exploity like never before

The music adapts when you start or stop moving in almost every level.
0:59 This is the only similarity between these two, and I'm very sure that's a coincidence. I don't think these two games are the only ones to feature sky bonus areas with cloud platforms accessed from climbing a vine hidden inside of a block (which I know sounds very specific).

Actually, you can still find the secret vine without the add ! blocks badge, you just need to find the spot were it is and hit it.

There’s another way to get past the blocks in the bull rush level. You can take a shell and use that.

When RetroAchievements catches up to future Switch emulators, we need a challenge to do Dangerous Donut Ride using the drill trick.
Here’s one- the dialogue when facing Bowser Jr is different if you play with the Invisibility Badge. Also, Rage Stage Bowser has alternate dialogue when you play as Peach and/or with the Invisibility Badge
Great stuff. I always wondered how resilient the Bulrushes were against different types of attacks. I never paid enough attention to it. Plus, Yoshi can eat bubbles. My life is complete with this invaluable knowledge.

Fun Fact: Yoshi can eat the emeny's fireballs and spit when Maw-Maws can eat the player's fireballs.

6:39 There's a third way, and arguably the most difficult. Take a snail shell, and bring it to the end. I know this because I couldn't for the life of me get to the end without getting hit. It's also the only way Yoshi and Nabbit can get the secret flagpole.
