Your "Johnny Was" tunic is adorable. It's just so sad to think about how many talented musicians and singers from the 60s/70s we lost to drugs and alcohol. It's really unfortunate that they weren't able to continue sharing their stories and experiences with us.

Wow, I bet going thrifting in the '60s was absolutely incredible! Imagine finding beautiful dresses made of silk, crushed velvet, and lace from the 30s and earlier. It must have been like stepping into a dream world. By the way, I've been trying to find the "Foxy Lady" video online, but I'm having no luck.

Gram probably listened to country music with his father. My father was a country music guy but in the 60'S rock was on all the tv shows. One night we had gone frog hunting and on our way home at 5 am we got caught by a train. Dad turned the truck off and put the radio back on. Summertime blues was rocking at that moment. A memory I will never forget. Gram sure must have missed his mom and dad. . Gram just came up on my utube feed on his death anniversary. Been listening to him ever since. So many great songs. Gone far to soon.

People like to paint groupies as bad people, but I don't see them that way (at least not you) I can tell you just absolutely loved music and the time you were growing up in. I love hearing your stories. I am reading your first book right now called, "I'm with the band: confessions of a groupie" I'm enjoying it! I had no idea that this was actually a thing back then or today even. I have always been fascinated with the 60's & 70's style & music....I love Elvis! I'm sure I'd been right there with you Pamela if I were in that era. BTW is there any way I can watch the VH1 documentary, "let's spend the night together"? I've been looking everywhere for it! If you could get the rights to it, I think you should post it on here for us to watch even if it's 4 bucks to watch I'd sure pay it! 😊
