Wow, I bet going thrifting in the '60s was absolutely incredible! Imagine finding beautiful dresses made of silk, crushed velvet, and lace from the 30s and earlier. It must have been like stepping into a dream world. By the way, I've been trying to find the "Foxy Lady" video online, but I'm having no luck.
I'm guessing that jacket of Jimi's escaped the prescence of one Howard Kaylan ?..... People like to paint groupies as bad people, but I don't see them that way (at least not you) I can tell you just absolutely loved music and the time you were growing up in. I love hearing your stories. I am reading your first book right now called, "I'm with the band: confessions of a groupie" I'm enjoying it! I had no idea that this was actually a thing back then or today even. I have always been fascinated with the 60's & 70's style & music....I love Elvis! I'm sure I'd been right there with you Pamela if I were in that era. BTW is there any way I can watch the VH1 documentary, "let's spend the night together"? I've been looking everywhere for it! If you could get the rights to it, I think you should post it on here for us to watch even if it's 4 bucks to watch I'd sure pay it! 😊

Was it the exact same footage or different than the footage used in Burning of the Midnight Lamp? I couldn't find the foxy Lady promo video. I remember in 1987 I was in the 10th grade, and my Biology teacher didn't really care for my 3 ring binder, which had a drawing of Jimi Hendrix on the cover. Ha! I really wasn't interested in biology, I wanted to go home, put headphones on and listen to my Jimi Hendrix tapes among other 60's music. I hated rap and heavy metal ha!
