I’ll tell you what I made this and it was amazing! Even my husband who doesn’t necessarily like me messing with old and true recipes loved it. So it is delicious for anybody who hasn’t tried it do it it’s worth it. I’m gonna buy some more chicken this week and make a batch and take it to my parents who are in their 80s and living in a hotel because a tree fell on their house during a storm we had at the beginning of May. It was a lot of work well not really but I just bought some Bob Evans mashed potatoes and they were perfect with it.

My dad's favorite dessert is banana cake with chocolate frosting. I've got Father's Day coming up this month, and his birthday in July. Do you think i could incorporate chocolate into this somehow? Chocolate chips in with the pecans maybe? Thanks for sharing!

We made this today but we cheated a bit and used two cups of Bisquick instead of your dry ingredients ….. yes we enjoyed it ! You are the finest old school cook out there by far !

Your recipes look delicious, but whaymt I am most impressed with us seeing you speed up the whisking, beating, and mixing of the ingredients!! You can put bananas in the refrigerator when they are getting over ripe .The outside gets blsck but the inside is fine.
