with the leftover spaghetti take two pieces of buttered white bread, fill with spaghetti, and and grill in a fry pan for a great treat.

Seems like a blended of lasagna and spaghetti……I will definitely try this! ❤️
Hi Catherine. Love spaghetti pie. Last time I made it, I used half spaghetti squash and half spaghetti for the noodle layer. Quite honestly, I like the texture the squash adds to the noodle layer and it doesn’t hurt that it lowers the carbs. Then I blitz cottage cheese with an immersion blender because it’s cheaper and the protein content is higher. The curd haters don’t know they’ve been fooled 😂

My go-to is always angel hair pasta, but good to know not to use it in this recipe. As always, looks delish!

Hi there. Love this recipe and when cooking Pasta salt your water very well. Water should taste like the sea. Adds a depth of flavor which really perks up your dish.

*** ADDITION COMMENT: I did make the Spagitti Pie dish (actually in a 9X13 pan, which it worked out), a few days ago, and I felt like I was eatting at a fancy restaurant. I do NOT cook much, but it was soooo good (I followed your recipe, except I left out the garlic, and parcel). I ❤ THIS DISH!!
