Led light faulures but runs great with recon turbo. Air con fix easy. Hoping it reaches 200k great load lugger with towbar

Hmm, my 2014 Boxster S won't open the Top or Raise it with the keyfob! However,...I did find the 12V outlet in the armrest and the tire air compressor (...I also tested it to ensure it works).

C220 CDI is NOT a Sports upgraded Car. Its a 'commuter' 4 Cyl Diesel. Even the Audio 10 sound system is 'basic' With high millage its bound to be neglected and in need of a complete check up.

You missed the major failure points on this generations. 1.) thermostat housing / water pump / coolant line 2.) air suspension compressor 3.) dashboard leather coming off

If you have the tow bar fitted and someone unplugs the electrics from e.g. trailer or bike-rack when the car is locked, the alarm will sound. Also, the speed limit display will give alternative speed limits for towing, and an extra turn signal light shows up when indicating to show trailer etc lights are working correctly. You’re welcome.

5' 10" and you drive in the highest position? How can you call yourself a car guy? I drive all of my cars in their lowest position and it has nothing to do with my height. Aside from the obvious reasons to drive at the lowest position, ingress/egress and cluster visibility complaints just enforce that your doing it wrong.

When turning right on red, the traffic light is treated like a stop sign. The driver must first come to a complete stop before turning. Not doing so is treated as driving through a red light and can be expensive.

J’ajoute mon feed-back à la liste: GLC 300 2021 essuie-glace passager s’est croisé avec l’essuie-glace droit. J’ai été obligé de les rabattre manuellement. Après cela, seulement l’essuie-glace gauche conducteur fonctionnait. En inspectant à la main le serrage des 2 boulons de l’essuie-glace non fonctionnel ils paraissaient très bien serrés mais avec une clé à molette je suis arrivé à faire un quart de tour de serrage sur chaque boulon. Cela à ma grande surprise a fait la différence et l’essuie-glace fautif s’est remis à fonctionner! Grand merci ! Ma voiture et encore sous garantie mai j’ai évité les tracas de prendre rendez-vous chez le concessionnaire. Je ne sais pas si c’est relié mais mon pare-brise a été changé il y a environ 6 mois...

The 997.2 was the last generation "All Porsche" build before VW came in to the picture and the 991 was forecast to be assembled w/ cheaper parts and not 100% Porsche. This is why the 997.2 is the gen to own, the last of the true 911.

Murikaaaan here & my family has been driving MBs for 60 Years. I inherited a low mileage, heated/cooled garaged, showroom condition, 2010 C300 4-Matic Luxury from my Mom who passed away recently. I oversaw her meticulous maintenance of her car since she purchased it new in 2010. It's probably 1 of the best modern Mercedes and tons of them are still driving on the road here in NYC. It feels solid, handles very well & fairly low maintenance. Yes, major maintenance intervals are expensive if you take it to a dealer, however I found a private mechanic that charges 1/3 of the $300/Hrly Rate my MB dealer charges. I plan on keeping this car forever. I have driven the new Benzes, and they are awful, cheap, tech-junk nightmares...🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️

With any stop start problem it usually is down to an old battery. A lot of V/W parts fit and are exactly the same part minus the porsche sticker. Having owed an Audi I can confirm their parts prices are on a level with a Porsche

I've a mark 5 since new , 16 years now . Thankfully I had none of the issues you mentioned apart from scratching my 18 inch alloys ! Only real issue was the last 2 years when I had 2 fuel injectors replaced . The car has 120 thousand miles . Like your lovely gti mine is the 2 door version ,not as practical but looks the business.
