Gays want to distance themselves because of the public "trans" behaviour not being aligned with how they want to behave and be percieved. It isnt rocket science, and it is well within anyones rights to want to distance themselves from something they view as poor behaviour, incoherent arguements, lack of factual information, denial of basic science, the list goes on. You do not win acceptance from demanding it and screaming, that is how you isolate yourself more from whatever majority group there is. You dont need allies and activism, you need perspective and down to earth conversation.

I'm nonbinary, and I need Donald to at the very least lose this election, so I can be emancipated. if I do, I'll live a happy life, which I can't do under my current circumstances. this election could quite literally ruin my life, and the plan I have for living. Being a trans child IS a medical condition no different than being born gay! Having ADHD or any other birth condition! Full medical intervention for any person is a human right! If I may! Transgender is a medically valid diagnosis! Yes, there may be a medical push/hysteria to being trans, when there are other dynamics. But, as a late transitional trans woman! I can tell you being born in the fifties and knowing at 5 that I was a girl. Telling my mother. Being beat for saying it by my mother was life inhibiting for me! Trans children are real, we know exactly who we are! Yes, every accessible medical/psychological need must be met so that trans children like me (and you) can experience the best kind of life any cis gender person can! Being trans (from birth) caused so much harm in my life and in the lives of others around me! We have to address the reality of being trans, like we address the needs of children born with any other birth condition outside the perspective of “normality” so that they may live to their fullest potential!
