Hia Miss ^w^/ so your curiosity is 100% a possibility - though it comes with a "but" - in the form of some limitations. At this current time the only ways to make a "Floating Shelf" would be: ● to it in a doorway(or anywhere else that has a grid you can build on.) (please see this video that definitely needs an update >.< czcams.com/video/IBz1Cv7Jl-A/video.html) ● or you can use the "Makeshift Tent" as an "anchor" to perform either a Solo float (if you are on PC czcams.com/video/igAdAl90OG4/video.html) or a regular float (if you are on Switch czcams.com/video/uy8mEkqVbHU/video.htmlsi=zvg8sUA3Q5bJqQEn) ● the 3rd way is much more freeing - but very limited - as you need a Winterlights Red Present. to which you could Solo float the shelf

Trying to help your managers realize what a valuable resource you are to have, well - you don't have enough energy to do the bear minimum. & then because there's a drop in your productivity it doesn't matter that you are only doing 75% of the 115% that you were doing they just see the drop & you get the boot. →^v^'

Ah, for sure for sure... I really should update the description for this video. I was recording this footage to bring attention to a bug that was present back in December. It happened when you were crafting special event recipes that were given out. 😅

@@atinydragon so I actually have all of the winter recipes and the only "bug" mine still have are still saying some of them have never been crafted even though I have several times. I didn't end up getting any new recipes tho dang it lol

As luck would have it - I'm playing on my switch right now. & it looks like it works the same as it does on the PC. So if you follow the steps in the description, it should work 🥰👍but thank you very much for the reminder. This should definitely be a video that I record a voice over for. 🥰

@DerChristinaChannel this one always gets me. You have to hover over the room then press "Y" ❤️🥰 [I always accidentally press x by mistake & open the Inventory - if you do this, just press X again to close it]

@DerChristinaChannel 🤔 usually that means that there is either an "add on" that you forgot to take off (Either a Door, Fireplace, Porch, or Bay Window) maybe try rotating the view with L/R to see if anything is still connected?

Mmm which bit? 🤔 because I use the WRP on a daily basis, this video is quite out of date however 😅 & things are actually much easier. You don't actually need to place the WRP on a shelf to make a Ceiling item go on it for example, they just go on now. 🥰

At this point there's so much of the game that is held together by WRPs that I'm pretty sure that it would probably implode if they broke these little wonders 🥰

@@katarina8660 it's just there to give you something to shoot off of, ^w^/ It makes it so the item shoots from point A ────────────────────────── \ - at a downward trajectory ─────────────& when it gets to point B - if you manage the timing & lag correctly, the system accepts the input The item you use as a "drop off point" can be anything in all actuality. (personally I like butterflies ^w^>)

Hey! Did you check A Tiny dragon's tutorial that I mention in the beginning of the video? There is a link attached, as well as in the description. Without this tutorial it will be hard to understand what is "jump trick", this mechanic is from the Float tutorial. Also I could help you more at our server!

Hey, so sorry for late reply. There are no specific tutorial for this exact item, but it was done with the same method from the Float tutorial by A Tiny Dragon that I mention at the beginning of the video. You should be able to see a link there, or you can also find it in the description. Float tutorial is about floating items, but if you wanna sink them into the ground you'd just have to "reverse" it by swapping starting point and final point of an anchor But also I'd recommend to check out our server, cause we have more explanations on a matter there, and if you will have any other questions we usually answer them faster in there❤

​​​@@miyori8559 sadly no, cause items like tables (or any other item that can not be placed on anything but ground/floor except items that are on non placeable list) currently can be placed on top of red present only😔 But we hope in our community that devs will add more new items with same feature But without a red present you can still make some items fly/buried, it just have to be items that could be placed on top of smth and anchor should be from stackable category such as barrels, bug/fish containers, treasure chests, etc

Im having a really hard time understanding how this works. I want to make books with butcher blocks by turning them on their side, i have an industrial wall shelf, a red oresent and a green present. Will this work?

It's the trick I mentioned at the beginning of the video, "Float tutorial by a Tiny Dragon" you should be able to see the attached link. I was referring to it as a "jump trick" cause with the same mechanic we can also sink items into the ground not just float

Sadly I haven't found a way to perform this on the Switch yet :( but I did discover that your friends can perform this method on your plot ^^' (I realize that does defeat the purpose of it being a "solo" method. It's more of a band-aid solution for now. ^w^>

unfortunately if you are looking to get the utility that the WRP has, :( I'm sorry to say that currently there isn't anything in the game does the same thing I'm afraid T.T That's why I strongly suggest that everyone hop over to the palia.info/feedback form to request that they add an item that we can craft that acts exactly like the "Winterlights Red Present" - lol just copy & paste the code, maybe give it a reskin xp

I couldn't agree with you more 😳 There does seem to be something... FINALLY in the works that's been datamined recently that's literally just tagged as being a "place-able door." But it doesn't have a proper name, or even an Icon yet 🤔 🙄 😕 😅 sooo time will only tell as to when we will actually see that come in.
