- Greetings Palian Housing Enthusiasts!
~_~_~*Today we will be going over*~_~_~
► How to merge items using a Treasure Chest
To learn the basics on Item Merging you can view Snapdragon's original video here ► • Palia - Merging Items ...
~_~_~_~_*Supplies*~_~_~_~_~_
For today's Video we will be using:
► 1 Industrial Shelf
► 1 Treasure chest [I just use a regular Treasure chest in the example, but the Ancient & Pirate chests work as well]
► 4 Kilima Tulip Planter
► 4 Homestead small lamps
► 2 Log Cabin Planter
{*Note:* that this method will work with anything that can be placed on a table/shelf, but to make the assembly that I make, this is what you will need.]
With the shopping list out of the way, let's hop to it ^v^/
~_~_~_~_~_~_*Preparation:*~_~_~_~_~_~_
We will be starting off by placing our Industrial Shelf on the:
► Outside Rear Wall of the Harvest House.
[Something to Note: for this example we are using this location but it also works on the:
►*Inside front Wall*
► Outside Front Wall
of the Harvest House.
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_*STEPS*~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_
► Step 1:
Get to a higher elevation than your Treasure chest
{as you can see in the video I use a table & additional treasure chests, but anything will work as long as you are looking down at the chest}
► Step 2:
Place our 4 Kilima Tulip Planters around the center - rotating them so the flowers are pointing in different directions.
► Step 3:
Place our 4 Homestead small lamps around our Tulips
► Step 4:
Place our Treasure chest a onto the Industrial Shelf that we placed on the Harvest House,
[due to the effect the Harvest House has on items placed on shelves this will push all of the items out of the way so we can place down additional items]
► Step 5:
Place our 2 Log Cabin Planters at either end of the chest.
► Step 6:
Take the Treasure chest off of the Shelf to allow the items to be pulled towards the middle of the chest.

Credit goes to @Snapdragon for his video on merging items that led me to come up with this solution. ^w^

I've been having fun with your technique.
Wow phantastic
Thank you 😊 💓
Can this be done on a switch ?
I would like to know if we can do this on switch too
Hi there - just wanted to let you know that I gave it a shot on the switch & it does indeed work ♥^w^♥
@@atinydragon that’s great news thank you
Has this been patched? I've been trying to make it work, using exactly the same items and setup, but when putting the chest on the shelf (which is attached to the main house) the items on the chest all stay put. I've tried to recreate the effect of the items popping off the chest/shelf, but they always keep their original positions. EDIT: I made it work, but only by using the FRONT wall of my Harvest House. Apparently the side walls do not give the same effect. After some testing inside I build a tower of chests in front and put the shelf on a teensy part of the upper wall, where it worked fine. Unfortunately the back wall of my house is not available for this effect.
Super sorry for the late reply 😅
In Episode #5, I showed using the front of the house.
I completely forgot to mention that in the steps. 🫣
- you can also use the Interior of the front wall to get the effect.
That is what I will be showing in episode #7
