Did this permanently fix the problem? I was reading that dielectric grease might be needed in the connectors to the TPS to provide a reliable electrical connection to the sensor.

By the time I remember this trick it'll be six months from now and I'll be giving this another view

I did the same procedure on my 2015 Ford Fusion and it worked just the same!
