Excellent advice. This may seem like common sense, but this is something to focus on and really be conscious of. We try not to waste and most scraps go to our livestock or compost, but we still waste. One of the ways that I tend to be wasteful is when I use sauces or condiments, I tend to take more than I need and it’s not really something I’m going to put back in the container, so it goes to waste. Nowadays, with prices the way they are, that small ramekin of sauce could be like 20 or 30 cents. That adds up. Thank you for sharing.

I like to make zucchini boats, using a marinara/ meat sauce, parmesan, and even a little bread crumb on top...bake in a casserole dish. So good! Already am starting to get a good zucchini and squash harvest.

I made this recipe and I find that it leaves a white powder on all my dishes that is hard to scrub off. If I put a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher it helps but result is still the same just not quite as bad. Any tips?

kinda painful to watch you incorporate all of that powder ..in such a small container. By the way...I'm totally going to make this recipe. Right now..I pay well for our natural pods...maybe wont be doing that anymore. Thankyou

I canned raw chkn about 3 years ago. Well I feel it’s time I use up these canned jars of chkn. I’m going to make great big bunch of chkn tamales and start over again with fresh chkns.
