Another terrific video with great music accompaniment! How much was it again Andy to stay at Beadnall? We are members of both clubs but are seriously thinking of ditching the CAMC . We are currently staying at Devizes CCC site right by the Kennet & Avon canal. There is the 3 magpies pub literally on the doorstep or a gentle stroll along the canal about 30 minutes takes you to the barge inn great food & reasonable prices. We are Age related members of CCC and 3 nights at Devizes cost us £139.15 so its £46 a night as members. There are no age related discounts in peak season.

Thanks. I camped at C&CC Beadnell in the late 80s when I backpacked up the Northumberland Coast. I’ve twice been a member of the Club since: when I owned a camper van in 2011 and subsequently camping again. I’m in my late 70s, so qualify for an over 60 discount. The Club also offers other discounts to members so you would have paid less than £53 as a member. You also receive a monthly magazine and, every other year, a site guide book and map. And yes: the C&CC is also called the ‘friendly club’ and my experience over many recent years confirms this. So before viewers complain about rip-off Britain etc, remember that the makers of this film were not members when they arrived at Beadnell. I’m not at member of the Motorhome and Caravan Club and was recently quoted £28 to stay one night at a site in the Scottish Borders with a small backpacking tent. High(er) charges work both ways for non-members of these clubs.

£53 is disgusting, prices seem to be on the rise again and it putting a lot of people off and even price per dog is getting stupid, for £53 I'd want breakfast thrown in.

Check your facts, there are sites in CAMC that allow tents, probably more than you realise.

I was fishing and taking cod bk to that camp site and give fish the people on site and there is a lovely van for food 5 min along the road

Not sure WHEN you were at Beadnell but.... I assume you joined the Camping & Caravanning Club because if you did: 1. The fees for camping are cheaper for members than non-members, so LOWER than £53 per night. 2. If you are at Beadnell for any time in the 3 weeks or so after 29.07.24, there is a pop-up campsite (a THS - temporary holiday site) exactly 2 fields away from the Beadnell Club Campsite. It costs £10 per unit per night but only Club members can use it. Really well organised and you'll soon "get your membership fee back". Come on - TEN POUNDS A NIGHT!. No extra charge for children, pets, awning etc. The THS is open now, we will be going up this weekend. No need to book - the fields are never full. Just turn up with your membership cards...! The Club site is often booked up and sends members along to the THS. Good relationship between the Club Site staff and the THS. Campers at the club site sometimes come along to see what is going on at the THS. "We've neve heard of a THS. You mean we can come here for £10 per night? We only booked two nights at the Club Site so can we join you here after tomorrow...?" 3. People can stsy for one night, or a weekend or anything up to 23 nights. Some, for example, might stop off forba night or two on their way up to Scotland and then stop again to break their journey on the way back down. Worth a thought...?

Did you check to see what the pitch price was if you were members ? Also C&Cc give discounts if you are over 60 which makes them even more attractive. Me thinks your the advance guard fir the CAMC who need to get their act together and start winning hearts and minds sine their website debacle and terrible handling of the Covid saga.

My favourite area in the UK. Just up the road from where you stayed is a camp site called Annstead Farm, it is a working farm. It is straight across the road to the beach, facilities are ok. £25 per night based on last years prices. We have stayed at all 3 of the Northumberland council’s stopovers in the area. Great at £12 per night, I think Beadnell is my favourite. Great vlog.

That’s us in the Bailey Adamo in front of you in the queue to get in 😊. Enjoyed our stay there, but boy it was windy. The parrot was a first for us as well. Our two dachshunds weren’t impressed by a bird in a cage.

For 53 quid a night, I would want the toilets to have Rachel Reilly 4ply extra soft toilet paper. (guaranteed not to wipe the smile off your face). By the way happy campers, I'm doing a van lifers special soon featuring 50 plus recipes for campers and van lifers. You guys are certainly putting some of the most beautiful places in the UK, on the map. The tourist board should be paying you.

You need to join the Camping & Caravaning Club and try there Temporarily Holiday Sites (THS). They have site all over Britain in some cracking locations and cost as little as about £8 a night. Another great Vlog 👍 👌

We love Northumberland and Seahouses but we stayed at Seafield caravan park. Very nice site with a leisure centre that also serves the community. We went out of season about £44 per night which included free access to the pool.

beadnell seahouses all the northumberland coastline is great even inland the likes of wooler and the scottish borders are all beautiful places cant get better in my view
