- From the very start, we're off to a shaky beginning as we debate the practicalities of bringing our beloved Dora on her first camping expedition. Imagine trying to adapt to the compact living of a motorhome while juggling the needs of our dogs, the challenge of securing dog mats to the floor, and the constant threat of rainy weather turning our trip into a soggy mess.
Watch as we attempt to settle into our new temporary home, facing off with a predator lurking in the corner (spoiler: it's not what you think), struggling with the decision of whether or not to put down roots in the form of velcro on the floor, and navigating the social minefield of the local pub with a puppy who's just not ready for the great outdoors.
Our journey is filled with laugh-out-loud moments, like our futile attempts to relax amidst the chaos of DIY projects gone wrong, the tension of dining in a cafe with a broken oven, and the philosophical musings over a cup of coffee that seems to last forever. All the while, we're questioning our life choices, from the practicality of washing lines to the existential dread induced by a pack of plastic wine glasses.

We are just coming to the end of our two week trip in our little caravan with our Poochon Noodles.
7 days in Ingleton and enjoyed the 4.5 walk to see 6 beautiful waterfalls, after seeing your visit to Hawes we followed suit and enjoyed a visit to the creamery 👍
We are now in Derbyshire staying at Laneside site in Hope Valley and have had a great time except our pitch is so near to the road it’s like camping on a busy roundabout (lovely site except for this)

A Poochon is half Bichon & half toy poodle so small, teddy bear appearance & very cuddly kissy 😂 she has curly ringlety hair so we named her Noodles which suits her perfectly.
The Waterfall walk is a ‘must do’ and everyone is able to do it at their own pace, I’ve only got little legs as I’m only 4’ 11” with a 6’2” hubby so I take a bit (lot) longer than others 😂😂

Hahaha love it when Andy sighed when Claire said ‘I’ve got a job for you’ - I think all men do the same sigh when those six words are spoken - Dora is doing great - can’t wait to see you all 😜

Don't use Velcro for the plants, use double sided tape. We found the Velcro didn't hold well enough. I'm with Claire taking her time, we just like to savour stuff ya bully 🤣

Hard work with puppy, I’d say Claire was probably right about not going until Dora is a bit older , on another note I we went to that site when it very first opened maybe about 6 years ago and I’m sure I saw Claire drinking that same coffee then , very very slowly
