No problem. I will just only ever buy a Bethesda game when i can get it as the complete edition on sale. They aint the only ones making games and their older titles have the biggest singleplayer modding communities on Earth. I can just keep playing them as there are new mods and even fan remakes still being made. And then there are also other franchises and other genres which are better suited for indie development. If big game companies want to play it that way, i am ready to keep voting with my wallet.

$7 is 10% of most major titles right now. Is that $7 DLC giving you 10% of a game?… No? Then its not worth it. You said it gave access to a mission that took 20 mins to complete. For 10% of the price of a major title, it doesn’t give even 10% of the playtime to complete the base game…. Well… maybe it does for Starfield. DLC is fine when it adds something meaningful to the game. If it doesn’t change something with the main story or have some different unique gameplay… then why?

If you don't like it don't buy it. You guys complain when DLC is 40 dollars....no one is going to develop anything for you for free, everything costs.

If people want cosmetics and want to pay for it I think it's fine, but I think anything not a huge addon should be free otherwise when it comes to content. Just look at No Man's Sky. That said my worry if I had a successful game would be all the background costs with so many servers, licenses and stuff needed. You need a way to have some money coming in after release too.

Please have Bethesda fix operation Starseed, and make better looking space suits.

For me, if Starfield's base game have enough contents that worthy the triple-A definition, then I don't mind some icing on the cake paid extra contents. But Starfield clearly the completely opposite, a big and empty game...

If they weren't turds, they'd just have you spend the EXACT amount you need to purchase the EXACT amount of 'internet coins' to get the exact thing you want; or at the least just let you buy it directly. This mobile monetization of making you have 'dollars and coins' left over should be held to the same standards as 'gambling laws' are; because it makes you want to perpetually 'use up' all your left over money on the account.

There has been a noticeable uptick in people defending these anti-consumer behaviours. They could be corporate A.I bots trying to make public opinion look less unanimous than they actually are so they look better, at least that is the only rationale I can think of as not many sane people would argue for things that degrades their experiences and makes them more expensive for them as well.

It's not a matter of how expensive the quest are, it's the fact that we have to pay for them at all. Imagine only getting to play the first mission for The Crimson Fleet quest line, or the Free star Ranger, or the Vanguard quest line, and then having to pay $7 for every quest afterwards. It's absolutely ridiculous and greedy and I cannot believe people are actively defending this

I have a feeling a lot of these jobs are going to be more instanced than anything, I can't imagine a game where you can fly around and find different fires all over the world with the amount of detail and computing power that would take. Interested to see how they pull this off.

This game has everything a space game could ever have. Yes, it needs polishing. Yes, it has some bugs. But this game has significantly more potential than any AAA game out there. It’s a clear passion project and I would love to believe that it’s going places.

If the game is good ill happily pay quite a lot for a good dlc. Obviously I wont ever pay $7 for a single mission for a garbage game. Bethesda are just following the trend of successful gaming companys going downhill, I don't care about their games anymore.

I made a thread criticizing this on the steam forums and it was not well received. I wasnt expecting that much of the modern player base to be so tolerant of this behavior from a studio.

It is absolutely our responsibility as consumers to not buy something unreasonably priced. That is the negotiation between producers and consumers. As with the other iterations of the Creation Club, I feel that the prices should be halved at the very least. I agree with your sentiments and I’m heartened by your belief in the power of complaint and redress. I was fine with the price of StarSim mining, but a small addition to a new apparently a la carte questline is indicative of the systemic nickel-and-dime tradition for games. If the big conglomerates can address their price gouging (Walmart, Amazon, etc) so can Bethesda, but more accurately XBox. Thank you for the video

The pricing of micro-DLC, because that's what this is, a micro-DLC made by an independent body, should not be the price of almost every new indie company game that has come out over the past 2 decades. The pricing should be below or equal to $5, and the higher increments of costing should be saved for bundles, where the increase in content can be used as an excuse for the cost. This costing formation is borderline live service, since these creation club content don't disable achievements in the save it's used in, but that $7 back in 2016, for Fallout 4, would've gotten an expansion that adds an entirely new crafting system, weapons, quests and NPCs. The Line must be drown here, no further. No more, I say, to $7 CC content that would get done in less than 2 hours.

Imagine buying technology addons for your car, oh wait BMW. Microsoft are trying to get their money back from buying Bethesda, as the original sales of Starfield probably never went anywhere near their projected sales.

As a real ATP pilot and user (sometimes frustraded by it) of FS2020,I think is promissing,bu I did NOT see what I ALWAYS see while flying : veihicle traffic! why they left it tottaly off? and how about night time? and there is any improvement to weather?

I had not remembered just how much content Morrowind had. Starfield was already disappointing to me story and exploration wise but now its even worse.

Imagine charging for something that should be in the game. I am willing to take a bet that it was planned to be, but then they decided to add it to Creations. BGS are so greedy these days.

Had a look at the CK development software , Respect to whomever works with it , doing a simple re-skin shouldn't be to difficult , but adding in any sort of character movement , physics , lighting , animation , voice and myriad of options , all takes time .. on the other hand , nobody is forcing the purchase ..

I feel like if you pay for a full game you shouldn't have to pay for more ingame content. It's kinda if you buy, for example, a receiver/amplifier. When bought you noticed you it only plays in Mono. But to have it in Stereo you have to pay for a firmware update to unlock that. Oh and you want Dolby or any other formats? You can get this if you pay a certain amount again.

I'm not even going to buy the game now that they've done this. I was waiting for the initial issues to be resolved before buying. Not anymore.
