Totally agree with your descriptions of how toothy it is; feels like drawing in marker on a very smooth paper. Feels very natural and organic, but not noticeably grainy, nor slippery. (And I relate to your sensory issues with the regular glass - and your descriptions of how regular glass gets greasy and leads to mixes of slippery-to-sticky glide are spot on!)

I’ve had issues in the past with random stuff like sunscreen which got onto plastic surfaces I was working with (even just plastic cups that came with a smoothie machine) which were really wrecked somehow from coming into contact with the sunscreen; glossy acrylic turned matte and cloudy-looking… My concern is that something similar to this might happen with the nano textured glass, although I know it’s “glass,” I’ve also heard it’s a “coating”? Was wondering if you had any insights on that kind of a concern? The acrylic plastic objects in question were never the same again, it was impossible to wash the items back to the original finish. (Very strange, but it happened numerous times!) I LOVE the feeling of the nano-texture, but I’m also scared about it becoming permanently obliterated by contact with something similar. Again, any insights? 😅

Not sure if l like the idea of a removable screen protector.

i have a question: if i use this program for drawing some backgrounds in development of a game (about the free version), i must pay some "commission" in case i start to make money with this game? Or is total free for uses like that? (nice vídeo about the program by the way)

Adobe has annoying subscription that is impossible to cancel without exorbitant fees and hassles. Procreate is pay and play. If you are using an iPad for art, there really is no argument there. Also, Adobe can claim your art as theirs, or use your art as they feel. Again, there is no argument.

I had an art teacher in high school that thought it was crazy I wasn’t going to college for art (got my accounting degree - which has served me very well). There was a fellow student that was over the top talented at cartoonish drawings he could come up with his imagination, with his art in the yearbook, tshirts, etc. I had, what I know now, was imposters syndrome because I would compare myself to him and thought no way could I be successful. Art is my hobby and I now have more free time to practice and learn from CZcamsrs. I enjoy it very much and am not pressured to fund my life doing it.

So, this was the third video i watched from you, only found you today :D You know what? I might be in a minority here but this type of video, where it's mostly raw, uncut, long AND fricking soothing is my favourite type of video. I am so glad you decided to do this. I wish there'd be more of this on YT. Especially with digital drawing videos. Though i enjoy watching them, the constant zooming in and out gives me an immediate headache and dizzyness when it's sped up.. which it is most of the time. So thank you!!! So much! It really felt like hanging out with you without all the typical live-stream-chat-interruptions (felt more personal and calmer this way) and i enjoyed watching every single line stroke you made, hearing every single word you said and following your decision making process (which feels invaluable to me to be a part of). I think speeding up in between and at the end worked quite well. I just wished it had another reason in the end, than just you being concerned over time or the entertainment factor. We make art to enjoy ourselves, to express ourselves.. to create ourselves, just like your smoke guy. The smoke guy also shows you how to have fun again: it comes from within you. If something doesnt feel right, just close your eyes and let things be. When you reopen them you might have a different perspective on things and the fun will come automatically, as long as you created something. I found that quite fitting that you drew him right next to the fun lettering. Please please please TRY and stop beating yourself up over the video format, the length, the entertainment factor, bla.. (easier said than done i know).. i didn't even care if you were out of frame for a bit, as i'm here to watch you draw and not study your facial lines ;) Ok, that might just be me, but what i love most about watching your videos is getting to know your authentic self which makes you one of the rarer art youtubers who are so damn relatable! Be kind to yourself, keep having fun :) Your channel deserves to grow big and wild and even weirder. I'll be here for it! ✊Fake Productivity ftw! (no diagnosed ADHD, so no emoji-alien, who knows.. I do share half the struggles and the other half makes me a complete alien, but from a different planet :D

Interesting.. I was looking for tips about "how to sell doodle style illustration", because I'm a designer, who likes to draw doodles, (and to be a designer in game industry at 40 become kinda exhausting). And suddenly I found the story of my life 😄Also found out that I have ADHD last year and now I suspect, that ADHD somehow could lead a person to that kind of career... of creator of some sort 🤔

Top tips, thanks. For sure these are all good nitty gritty tricky things. I still havent got them nailed. Eg a lot of clients dont like paying by use although its the law. And nailing down number of revisions is a big deal. Ive lost a lot of money on faffy clients who dont respect the work involved in making changes. One Changed it then change it back. I love a client who just makes a few. I usually take examples to the initial meeting even pre the commission so we can establish mood vibe and basic style. Has saved a lot of time. That may be common practice.
