This video had so many incredible moments BRO I COULDNT SEE This level requires over 800 line clears. Killscreen? What killscreen? We're already considering the possibility of rebirth. I finally understand why Blue Scuti screamed when he crashed. He thought he has lost it, and stayed cool, then threw a last minute Hail Mary when filling up the stack. THAT'S how you build suspense. I also never knew how close the race was. Fractall was right there, cheering him on. Then someone just shows up a month later out of the blue, and nearly doubles the high score. The perfect ending.

Removing crashes from the game by playing Tetris Gym is like removing glitched colors to avoid dusk and charcoal. The beauty of this game is the complexity and difficulty that players unearth as they improve. Removing that to maximize score is a yawn. CMM

The explanations of the scoring and leveling system at 3:46-3:54 and the mention of 230 lines at 5:57 are missing some crucial information for someone unfamiliar with NES Tetris: unless I missed it, it doesn't explain why you first have to clear 130 lines to proceed if you start at level 18, and it doesn't mention that starting at level 19 would first require 140 lines meaning that you get as many lines in total before the kill screen (and thus your first 130 lines get a higher score multiplier than starting at level 18). Otherwise, I'm still in the first half of the video but it's amazing as always, keep up the good work! 😊

For Tetris it's the opposite, the game has things trying to stop you both intentionally and as glitches, and the world record's history is about people overcoming those barriers through sheer skill to play even more than was ever intended. That is what makes this story truly amazing, and I'm glad this video covers it so well.
