I understand it may not be feasible but I am curious if there is a Lore accurate way to Play Odyssey and Valhalla.

Although I’m aware you primarily do AC games, I’d love to see you do a video on how to play as Aiden Pearce in Watch dogs 1. I think his story and his Psyche (which I know you like in characters) is very intricate and detailed - also rather emotional.

Saying "Connor is a bad character" can either mean 2 things Not understanding his character Or didn't play AC3 to the fullest I understand that people hated Connor when AC3 released, because before it we have 3 games and 1 animated short about Ezio and we see his character development from his birth until his death. So people expects a lot from AC3 too And then when you played AC3 for the first time, you're not instantly playing as Connor but rather Haytham, who is a great character, charming, and elegant similar to Ezio. And after around 4-5 hours of progress, Ubisoft tells us that Haytham was actually a Templar and he's not exactly the protagonist we'll be playing for the rest of the game And then we shifted to little Connor, it starts really slow and took us another few hours until we can finally freely play as him. The main story didn't really show us most of Connor's character, we mostly saw him as a Naive boy who's also a Beast in battle and he didn't stop chasing for Lee (and i think you could blame Ubisoft for this). In a way, it does makes sense for him to act like that, because he lost mother when his tribe is on fire when he was a kid, and that's because Lee choked him and makes him unconscious. He then have to leave his village to find a way to save & protect his tribe when he was only 13. Later we found out how the ones he's been helping is the ones who's been attacking his village, and because of that he had to stop his tribe and forced to kill his childhood friend Later on, he had to kill his father too so that he can finally get Lee and finish him once and for all. But after all he did, his tribe left him and all he had is just the Homestead, its people, and the Assassin Recruits (and also, Ubisoft makes it even worse by cutting his Ending Speech out from the game, where his speech will show you just how much he actually changed throughout the game) But here's the thing, outside the main story, we did see Connor's character shines. In the Homestead missions, we can see how he's more chill, friendly, and acts kindly towards the Homesteaders and even the Assassin Recruits (although in this one he's slightly on guard). Connor is the kind of character that you need to fear if he's your enemy, but glad if he is your friend In the end, i think we need another game with Connor, but sadly that might never happen

I have played Valhalla and Origins in Max Dificult, and i was obligated to be steatlh cause enemys were way too poewrful, one hit or two and you are dead. So i dont feel like perma Death, just raise alot the dificult to the point that face two enemy simultaneously are impossible. But i agree that things like flaming swords or dragon rides breaks the lore friendly of the game. Great Video.

I’ve never played the Ezio games (I’ve played the Kenway games so AC3 onwards), but I’ve heard of what people liked and miss about those games. I enjoyed the RPG Creeds (Origins strong narrative and limited RPG mechanics was great.). I want more focus on the Assassins. On building a brotherhood. They have potential to expand on the building of your Assassin brotherhood (they tried with Valhalla’s Ravensthorpe-the settlement-but Eivor was not an Assassin and was indifferent to the cause so the Assassin Brotherhood importance or potential was sort of forgotten). It’d be cool to expand on that part. The Hidden Ones DLC touched on the building of an assassin brotherhood, but it’d be cool to go in-depth with the inner workings of the brotherhood. Recruits, missions, spies, contracts. I think one of the Ezio games did focus on this but having more focus on this in the RPG series (with its potential scale) would be cool.

Definitely checks out since Bayek is like 5’4. I’d be a frenzied killer too if I was that short.

AC Odyssey should be at the top when it come to ghosting as well. Not because the well structure or freedom from the world and quest design but because of the ability. Invisible and distance assassinations? Cmon

Put down origins on the backburner for a while now. Installing it again rn thanks to this vid. Chasing for immersion is one hell of a drug 😂.

I would have a piece of eden instruct them on how to make the blade, which would fall within the isu manipulating time side of the lore I think ever since unity we’ve lost the pieces of eden being the driving force of the story and I love how Altair learnt the secrets to improving the hidden blade make that apple the apple found in Solomon’s temple or imply it’s that apple. I just miss the science fiction aspect of assassins creed i love how the rpg trilogy really tried with it I do really appreciate it but in my opinion it could’ve been done better.

Yeah you hit the head of the nail with this critique I do love this game I’ll keep coming back to it but the reasons I love it have nothing to do with assassins creed I love the raids I love playing as a Viking and in an assassins creed game the fact I’d rather charge In head first rather than stealth it is a problem I’ve tried playing it more as an assassin and I just don’t find the enjoyment there as much like sometimes it’s enjoyable but the tools and combat really only fit with a loud approach. Which is why I’m very excited for shadows I love the idea of having a warrior and an actual assassin. We forget most of ezios allies weren’t conventional assassins they were mercs whores and thieves it’s not like you can’t be apart of the brotherhood with a different skill set.

I feel like with Odessay they should have consolidated the story into something more manageable while shrinking the map to add more npc density as well as develop key historical areas to make the game more memorable. Lastly, connect Kassandra/Alexeos to the overall plot of the assassins and templars. Games a hot mess but developing the characters into assassins through the abilities make it feel like assassins even through narratively it’s not.

Great video, Spaniard. For combat, I like the dual daggers because they also double as a shield. If you don't have the shield equipped and press the block button when using the daggers, they will block melee attacks and arrows, just like the regular shield would do. The problem with the sword is that if you press the block button, Bayek will go into the blocking stance, but without the shield, he will take damage.

How do you even compare one of the best parkour systems to the first game of the franchise and of course ac odisey is gonna have better graphics because it’s the new gen of ac games like what do you except from a game from 2014 Mr complain ???

Something not mentioned here is how awesome the multiplayer mode was back in the day, there wasn't anything quite like it. I spent sooooo much time with it in the Ezio trilogy days, and it was one of my favorite features by far. Then there's the attempt at coop in Unity that they never took another stab at, which I feel is a shame. The PVP multiplayer wouldn't quite be the same these days with the RPG games, but I think coop could've worked pretty well.

A few other game series that are good for ghosting: Dishonored series, as mentioned (don't require a single death, ghosting is necessary for 100%) Thief (some games even require full pacifist on higher difficulties) Hitman (actively keeps track of killed non-targets) Mimimi's Stealth Strategy Games (large range of abilities, all attacks except for guns can be switched to non-lethal)

i guess that both sides are wrong the true way to achieve peace is to mix between order and freedom

I must say I think this is your best video yet. The assassin immersion factor is so important in AC and ive struggled to get into Origins because of all the ways it can potentially get in the way of this (too much clutter on your back, poor parkour etc). This video will probably mean i give origins another go. I think the hunter playstyle makes a lot of sense. Also i will check out the shield removal thing, that makes everything more immersive

I play AC origins a little different but our styles cross over at some points. Since i have the base game and the two dlc's i only use the skills from the hunter part of the skill tree in the base game. The warrior skills i unlock for the CotP dlc because of the boss fights. And the seer skills i unlock for the hidden ones dlc for the sleep darts and other tools. This brings me to my stealth gameplay, for which i agree with you on the point that bayek is a murder machine. so in the base game he kills every soldier he can find in the camps that he visits. But in the CotP dlc he only kills the captains and commanders because he starts to get his values in order. And in the hidden ones dlc he ghosts the targets because of the tenant that gets established in the dlc. Also as you can see i mention the base game and dlc's in a specific order. for me this order completes the story of bayek the best. this way he gets revenges for the murder of his son. in the CotP dlc he accepts that he is no longer who he was and needs a new cause. and then we see Aya and Bayek work together one last time in the hidden ones where he became mentor of the proto assassin brotherhood. as a final note i like to play with the Amenhotep bow because that is the bow on the box art and in Siwa when you go to his house and loot the chest you get a cutscene where he equips a sword. that sword i play with until he gets the blades of thoth in the hidden ones dlc. these are my main points for my lore accurate playstyle. feel free to comment your thoughts!

I agree that you should play AC Origins as much stealthy style as much as possible, unlike AC Odyssey and Valhalla, the best way to enjoy them in my opinion would be the way of true Viking warrior.

One thing that Definitely Destroys Immersion is Running when you're on a Crowded Street in a City, this way Bayek attracts the Attention of the Citizens and the Guards. If Walking is too Slow or Boring, it is better to take a Camel or Climb onto the Roofs to Run there. Anyway nice Video as always, next Lore Accurate way to Play.... I Hope it's either AC Brotherhood or AC 1.

About the lore accurate weapons being sword or daggers, I would also mention that in one of the missions when you play as Aya and Bayek is still around as an npc, the game gives him a sickle sword by default, implying that's his preferred weapon

i think rouge should of been the game in 2014 instead of unity so it could of had more development and improve the story and unity could of had been the game in 2015 so they could of planned it out correctly. the dlc for unity should of been arno and connor hunting down the last of the templars like shay and setting the end of the american and french saga perfectly
