The CZcams algorithm is a fickle beast 😂. This is more of a multi part series as there was a lot of time gap been work.

A few that should be considered: Make sure you're using an appropriate connection, no twisting wires together and calling it good. Crimp, solder, or connector. Don't need any sparks lol. Make sure you route the wires around from any sharp edges to avoid shorts. And make sure you're using connectors and crimps that can hold up to gasoline, most off the shelf ones do. If you're doing a custom setup, make sure any holes you drill get sealed. Bulkhead connectors, fuel appropriate RTV, rubber gaskets, etc.

I don't think so, I bought the level sensor and pump separately, not sure if Toyota sells them as a full assembly.

You can leave the plug out and flush, I believe that's what I did if I remember correctly 🤔. Zerex should be good to go 👍

Preferably heater on as you are bleeding the system (radiator cap off). This just makes sure no air gets trapped in the heater core.

Yeah I'm sitting around 102-108 depending on the day. I haven't measured it directly, and admittedly I should probably replace my condenser, but so far it has made a pretty significant difference over not having one last summer. AC is quite nice when idling for long periods compared to basically non existent before 😂.

Yeah I'll eventually to check it just in case, who knows what has been done to cause this 😂

Hmmm I didn't see a fuse on the diagram for that light, but might be worth a second look. As far as switching wires, perhaps, I just ended up putting them back the way they were, which could've been swapped at some point in it's life. 🤔

@motor.mausGarage I have an xtra one assembled. I will take a look at it to let you know about the wires. I changed mine because the gas was showing at full all the time(but was empty) and noticed that the little sensor attached to the floater was stripped and pretty much open. Got a new one. Also noticed that if the floaters touch the metal part, it does not move up or down. And if stays down, the light will stay on.

It actually went to a local friend of mine, I apologize, I completely forgot we had talked about it awhile back 🤦

It’s all good local is always easier and that was a full drivetrain rebuild ago lol my clutch went out in December so I still haven’t had time to finish reassembly on that anyway

Nah, feels the same. I might hard wire it eventually because I think there's some kind of resistor that I would like to delete.

Replacement of the fuel filter will help a little bit. My 180k original was filled with dirt. Oem parts period.

There should be an access panel for the carpet at least 😂

the sending unit and cage for the sending unit is it rusty? or dirty? you may need to replace it

That is a Ron Davis radiator OEM replacement. 10/10 recommend, well worth the money.

Thanks for the support! This vehicle actually already had a resistor for the EGR when I bought it, but you can usually find a good assortment of them on Amazon or eBay. Not sure what the resistance value needs to be though.

I'm not aware of any lists, but the main points would probably be somewhere along the lines of: Pistons and rings (or just rings if you're reusing pistons) Rod bearings Main bearings with thrust washers Rods (if not reusing OEM) Freeze plugs Oil restrictor in top of block (can just reuse the original) Alignment dowels for the head Oil pump o rings Oil pickup tube gasket Rear main seal Timing cover o rings Oil squirters (if you suspect old ones are faulty) I'm probably missing a few things but that's the bulk of what you'd need. Obviously machine work would be needed, so I'd talk to your machine shop before buying pistons and rings.

Technically mine are 36.5" 😂. I'm biased, but if you plan on doing a 3" lift, 37s all day 😎. Also good lock on the head gasket, I should have some pretty decent documentation on the process on this channel as well 🤝

Yeah DVS makes some really nice stuff. I think storage with a .50 Cal ammo can sitting where the battery should be is my use case. I always need a place to store fluids where I'm not worried about them leaking so I think that might be a good option. As far as the swing out, I'm looking at getting a 4x4Labs since you can remove all of the accessories when they aren't in use. I really only want to mount a spare for out of town remote trips (Moab for example). I mostly want the rear bumper for added departure angle and not feeling bad about scraping my rear end up during wheeling 😂. The main reason for the ARB twin mounted is the lockers that will be going in during some upcoming videos, but I love having onboard air no doubt. MORR flate has been on my mind as well, will make inflation super easy.

I didn't when it was removed from the trans, but if it fights you on the way out, that may be a good idea. The entire drivetrain was out when I removed the TC so I didn't have many issues there 😂
