Dads play these IPs and they just don't have hours to play a day. Animations were repetitive. DLC skins were goofy in a bad way or just didn't stand out enough compared to base skins.

My grand daughter(almost 7yo) loves Minecraft on my Xbox360 and I had gotten her some other games as well but she always got bored after a short while. I had Orange box for years and never really played it but I remember trying Portal 1 on it so I booted it up and it was an instant hit. We were sharing the controller and high 5ing each other and having a great time. Today I got Portal 2 and I told her I have it and she was like "YESSSS" . LOL . We are looking forward to playing it together when she comes over again but to be honest... I'm already having a blast playing. I have over 200 games in my collection but these are by far the most fun to play. Problem solving games are the best for the mind... far better for the mind than all these seek and destroy type games. Collecting Xbox360 games has been a pass time of mine for a couple years and now I'm finally actually playing them. LOL Cheers for the great video and sharing your experience with Portals.

A lot of these type of games are single player missing story mode .

A few considerations... 1) Are you using E-tanks and boss weaknesses? 2) When you meet Eddy (the little robot who gives you a free item,) are you taking the first item he gives you? As long as you don't take the item, you can go to the previous screen and come back and he will deliver a new item. You can use this to pick up e-tanks or extra lives. 3) Games after MM3 are better about quality of life things 4) Mega Man 3 has great music, how dare

Budokai 3 was the peak DBZ experience for video games wise- besides Legacy of Goku and LG2 but that was gameboy- Personally cannot play ANY of the games after Budokai 3- especially the TENKAICHI games (those were the WORST) It reminds me of Battlefield- I played my childhood dry on Bf1942 road to rome- and what do all the kids have as a "standard" for reference in the series? Yes the lack of modes and you don't have to add a lot of them three simple modes would do

From what I understand, Budokai 3 is Budokai 2 without the stupid board thing. But on the whole it’s the absolute best where it matters in the gameplay department. And overall features. I imagine someone was like Alex you need to jump straight to this one because it’s where it’s at for these older games that fully transitioned to the ones today. But I understand you want to lay the groundwork how these games grew as a franchise, and where they land today.

Hey man, great video. Just a quick note though, Sparking Zero is actually done in the style of the Budokai TENKAICHI games, which came at the same time as these ones. If you want a quasi-sequel to the Budokai ones, you have Shin Budokai for the PSP and Burst Limit on the 360, Wii and PS3

I played this game a lot more than 13 years ago, it had many problems that caused a lot of annoyance such as not being able to jump from the moving vehicle, the tank that destroys any vehicle even by touching a pixel by mistake, one of the weapons with a very high rate that in a real situation jams with every shot, it seems like only one aircraft to me and it sucked and much more, in 2024 playing this game you are forced to use mods because the basic game is poorly made...! you can give all the compliments you want to this game but the problems are objective and undeniable! I may have fond memories but I will never deny the obvious flaws

Love the video man. You’re really getting me hyped for Sparking Zero now lol. You’ve also made me want to get and play the Budokai games now with these videos. I’ve only played the Tenkaichi games up to now. I always love to see you get a complete in box version. I’m so neurotic about making sure all my games have manuals, and even the registration cards and inserts whenever possible lol 😂. I actually just found the manual for Spider-Man 3 on 360 on eBay the other day. I was so happy because I’ve been searching for that for years now lol 😂.

Also, interesting hearing the perspective of someone who hasnt played the game before until now. Lots of good points i can definitely understand. A lot of it is probably nostalgia driven, but i never get tired of this game. But i completely understand your gripes with the game and appreciate you playing and giving your perspective

Its a great video, but i cant help but point out applerskee was wrong about the intro scene, the car was always facing the correct way. Its weird how our memories can serve us wrong sometimes. But yeah, great video!

If they did a mode, (where you and three others fend for your lives in the cabin. Up Until the wave stops, the objective is run out the cabin to gather the pages within 30 to 60secs before another wave comes. Each wave gradually gets harder. When you and your team gathered all the pages of the necromancon the Person who picked the character with the skills to read the pages, they will open a wormhole or portal, that's where you and your team jump in and meet the Knights and Henry the red. Your next objective is to make your way across the evil infested woods on horse back looking for the 'RIGHT' book, and maybe solve some puzzles. After successful getting the book, return it to the wise wizard and your team makes it back safe. If you do not successfully bring back the RIGHT book, as soon as you arrive youll soon be met by a large army of skeleton demons along with Evil Ash and the bride, your team will have to survive, there will be a large red line above the screen that says 1000, Each time you get a kill that bar does down slowly. Defend the castle till you win and be brought back home. ) IMO i would love a evil dead game like this .

Man I remember back when the 360 arcade games were the coolest thing ever. Funny enough even Minecraft started as an arcade game. I'm gonna miss all those awesome little games. Another thing that's funny to think about is indie games. The indie games section on 360 was nothing like the indie games today. The were way smaller and lower quality but still a ton of fun. Castleminer Z always sticks out to me as a prime example of a 360 indie game.

I played GTA III when it was brand new and my nostalgia for it is endless. Even so, approaching it from an objective standpoint, it's not as great as they saw. It was mind blowing in 2001, but after the later games, it's severely lacking in almost every way.

You guys both did a great job in this video. I’ve never played any of the PS2 GTA games, I started with GTA IV. I’ve wanted to go back and play them for a while but now you’ve really made me want to lol. I’m gonna have to get on that soon.
