Spyro (original ones) was one of the games I used to play with my kids, a few bits were too difficult for them, so I had to help them out

This was my first Spyro game and I love it so much. Dont know if it is because of nostalgia, but I think is the better one of all three.

Such a great game In my opinion.
Not getting to the final boss right away is a weakness? That sounds like it’s up to patient presence. I missed the days when it was more rewarding to reach the final boss besides finishing stages.
O that's definitely fair. Like I was saying in the vid my thing is I felt competent at the game the whole time including collecting more than the average collectibles and still I found I had to collect a TON more before facing Ripto which I felt was a massive change of pace from the rest of the game
@@podcastnowbacktothepast I understand. Lol You made your point clear how you felt you put in enough effort to collect the orbs, and when you got to the final boss they asked more than anticipated. But it’s been so long since I played so I don’t recall how much work it took. I figure it makes sense, but I guess it could have been worse. :p
