I wasn't expecting to see MAG on here, that was certainly a welcoming surprise. Great game. And yeah, it's completely inaccessible now due to the servers being shut down. Although there are people out there trying to set up private servers, so maybe one day you'll actually be able to use that same disc copy. But if not, I still there's something nice and valuable about having a copy of online-only games once they're defunct, since in a way, it's all that's left of them. They still look nice to have displayed and remember them in some way. Also cool to have it just for the historical aspect of it Also I'm probably in the minority here but I think the platinum hits/playstation hits versions of games can be appealing to collect if you go for them all. Nice pickups though, hope you have a good birthday!
Ahhh I figured it wasn't around lol, but I'd definitely participate in fan servers!!! And that's a very good point that I'd agree with. If you're going for them all they can be valuable to the collection, I've gone the opposite way and so they just stick out, at least for now lol
Ouch, yeah those MS Store stickers are awful! The best way to get them off is steam. A steamer machine of some sort works best but I think an iron would also work if you're careful. At least you didn't get one that MS put one of those stickers on the inserts and manual, that was just downright criminal lol. I absolutely love Marvel Nemesis! My friends and I would play it for hours just battling each other, since it is a fighting game primarily. It's a 3d fighting game though, which I think really set it apart from anything else. It's not perfect by any means, it actually has tons of problems, but it's just so unique and honestly deserved a sequel. I definitely recommend that you try playing vs with somebody after you finish the story and unlock all the characters. X-Men 3 is another game I have fond memories of from my childhood. Objectively it's probably not actually that good but I really liked it as a kid. Now I want to play it again since I haven't in probably fifteen years at this point lol. I always love to see another Dragon Ball game. I definitely feel you on how expensive some games are and having to pass on them. I'm in the same boat with Tenkaichi 3, but also with the Silent Hill games. I don't own any of them and I wish so badly that I did. I remember when they were cheap and now it costs between $800 and $1000 bucks to get all four! It's absolutely insane! I deeply regret not getting those. Another game I regret not getting is X-Men Origins Wolverine. I saw it in a store for like $30 a year ago and decided I didn't wanna spend that much that day. Well when I saw it a few weeks ago it was up to $80+ dollars. I'm hoping that that's just because of Insomniac Wolverine hype and it'll come back down eventually. I did get MGS HD collection for 360 while I was there though. Which if you don't know, playing MGS 2&3 on the HD collection through Series X back compat is better than the master collection versions. Oh yeah and I remember seeing MAG on store shelves back in the day but I never tried it or really knew anything about it. Anyway I loved the haul and video. Can't wait to see the videos you make on these games. Oh and Happy Birthday!
I'm afraid of heat so I'll stay away from that 😂. And o man you got me excited for Nemesis lol. Yeah I gotta get more of the X-Men games and I'm mad I left a few on the table at these stores lol. And o man Dragon Ball games (some of them) and every single Silent Hill game is ridiculous. Like unbelievable. I want to add some Silent Hill games but like I'm not spending 150 for 1 subpar Silent Hill game just because it's rare, just like I didn't buy Naughty Bear at 60 because it's terrible lol. Thanks man!! I really gotta start covering the games I get in the hauls in individual videos because so far I've been terrible at that lol!!
