Tip for keeping the small pieces from falling thru the honeycomb: use painters tape over them before you move anything. 99% of the time you will not loose them. Occasionally if you don’t get the tape pushed down well enough, they still might fall.

Really fun video. The earring looked real great on Sally but I think she needs a pair of The Bearded Viking Woodworker earrings as well. While I was watching you make the bent wood bowl I kept thinking an 1/8 of an inch was way to thin, and it was right. Glad that you included that part… makes me happy to know I’m not the only one that can admit that I sometime have to elbowed a design. The finish bowl looks terrific. Do you have a regular live stream time… I usually only find it after the fact? Thanks for sharing!

LOL When you first introduced us to Sally, I thought you had a blow-up doll in your shop! LOL Great projects. The fruit bowl thing looks awesome, I'm definitely going to make some of those! My laser engraver might cut thin wood like that, it's only 5.5 watts, (never tried) so probably won't make any of the earrings. But they do look great and I'm sure Mrs Viking and your daughter will love those! Thanks for the inspiration my friend!

If you plan on making more earrings and jewelry, you will want to get some jewelry pliers. Mainly needle nose, flat nose and round nose pliers. Will make adding the hooks and jump rings so much easier for you. Also a tip with working with jump rings. You want to open and close the rings by twisting left and right to maintain the shape and strength. Prying open and clamping shut misshapens them and weakens the metal that can cause failure. They turned out pretty cool. Wooden celtic earrring would be awesome and on brand for a viking.

Cool projects 😎 and just a tip from someone who makes beaded jewellery (although wood will be next), use needle nose pliers to open/close jump rings. Grab each side of ring with pliers and open like you are ripping a piece of paper - twist pliers in opposite directions- away from u on one side and towards u on the other. Thanks for sharing 😀🇨🇦

I have picked up a Gardner Snake. I wouldn’t touch a poisonous one. We have mice, opossums, raccoons, and groundhogs here in the barn all the time. (Midwest) the wife is frightened by a little mouse, even though she is in the barn all the time ridding her horse. lol.
